This was our first time at the Lola. It was definitely not exactly what I was expecting. It is like a club but with food. It was extremely loud inside due to the loud music, which caused everyone to have to yell. The service was okay, but as others have said, the server seemed very busy, and our food took a while. The french toast was very good; however, the other meals were bland and not warm/hot.
Had the look and feel of a college bar, only the food wasn't as good.
It was my first and last visit to Lola. I made a reservation via Open Table for 5:30 and they called to confirm the day before. Around 5, I was stuck in traffic and called the host to let her know Iâd be 10 minutes late. She said she couldnât hear me because of the music playing in the restaurant but confirmed she pushed my reservation back by 10 minutes. Once I arrived, the host told me she couldnât find my reservation and that it must have been canceled. They seated us anyway. The music was loud and they didnât have their fans running so it was sticky and hot. My shoes stuck to the ground. My sister and I ordered cocktails, I ordered the Caliente with an appetizer. My drink had a piece of what looked like MEAT in it that I had to dig out. I figure their bar fruit is cut in the kitchen but I still donât totally know what ended up in my drink. And our appetizer never came. Our server seemed busy and we had to ask for service from the bartender several times. Overall, not a great experience and we wonât be back.
Went Saturday Morning at 11am ⦠we had reservations and still faced a long wait. We sat inside and it was soooooo HOT 𥵠zero air flow and 100% humid in there. Seriously crazy hot inside! We tried to order Mimosas and were made to wait until our serve could go check the bar/dishwasher to make sure they had cups because per the server they were busy and there were no cups holders for the Mimosas (we did get them but there was a delay) we ordered a My GF isnât hungry board⦠it never came⦠we finally got our food order⦠long story short we would have spent way more money but we werenât given the chance/service⦠we wonât be back anytime soon as it was too Hot, every single thing was sticky the floor the wall the tables all sticky⦠but save your money, take your business to a cleaner, cooler, better service establishment.

Absolutely terrible experience here. The inside of the restaurant was dark and seemed really musky, and there were a ton of flies. There were bugs and me and my girls all were bitten and itchy the whole time. My friendâs chicken was undercooked, the food was subpar in general and very overpriced for what it is. Iâm usually not very picky with restaurants or with food but absolutely one of the worst restaurants Iâve been to.

The AC was not working and many of the fans were not on. We were dying it was so hot in there. Also, they did not have ice for awhile. Our server was fantastic, and the food was good, but the lack of air flow made it super hard to be there.
Server was great. Too loud!! Tables are too sticky to put arm on.
I called a day before to order a PRESENTATION birthday surprise for my invalid sister. It never happened. When I asked for the check a young woman came over and in front of the person to be celebrated, asked me about the birthday surprise. I told her she just ruined it and to forget it. I paid the bill and left. The phone was out of order as I tried to call because I couldn't find the restaurant at first. Today, which is the next day, the phone is still not working. We left a sweater in error and I still cannot reach the restaurant to hold it for us.
