They were having a bad day. Arrived just after 1830, ordered two burger meals and a shake.Very friendly taking our order, got our shake fast. The lobby was lacking everything but people waiting for food. No ketchup, lemonade, tea, lids for drinks, and some other folks mentioned some of the sodas were running out or something. Watched the staff struggle pretty hard. The two dudes in the kitchen were arguing. Somehow, orders were disappearing and needing to be remade. Folks brought back cold fries they’d received. 20 minutes after ordering, we finally had our food. The burger had plenty of onions, though we requested none. Didn’t ask for another because we didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes. The burgers were pretty good, and so were the fries. We left at 1900. If we ever go back and see that manager on duty, I’m just gonna walk out. It was something like trying to watch someone mow the lawn that’s never seen a lawnmower or lawns before. The food was good, but definitely not worth that.
Stopped here for dinner one night, my son had eaten here before and said it was good. We ordered 2 Char Meals: the 1st was a double burger, with French fries, and a drink; the 2nd. was a single burger with cheese, French fries, and a drink. Both burgers were decent, a little small in size, but the lettuce,tomato,and onions tasted fresh. We also had an order of onion rings- which were good, nicely breaded, and tasty. An order of Brussels sprouts- no good... Very dry,and almost rubbery. Still hungry, because the burgers were small, we ordered a Santa Barbara Char- which was better tasting that the 2 other burgers combined. Slices of avocado, gave it a nice taste. If I could give a 3.5 rating, I would- they have a condiments bar, that had Heintz Malt vinegar, had not seen it in years. An old fish & chips shop where I used to live had Malt vinegar for the chips- very tasty. They also had hot sauce, and jalapeños too. This was a decent place, with decent burgers, but I WON'T BE making The Habit, a habit ! I might add, they need to have someone clean & sanitize their tables more often-while we were there for about a half hour, at least 1/2 of the tables in the restaurant were dirty, or still had food trays and garbage left on them. I know that food places are finding it hard to hire people- so that's when a Lead or a Manager has to step in,and help out...
We tried Habit Burger a few nights ago for the first time. I really loved it! The seasoning on the burger is great and you can't go wrong with a toasted bun. ;) We'll definitely be back to try more menu items!
Super disappointed in this location. We ordered through DoorDash tonight on January 18th 2022, half our burgers were missing and we didn’t get all of our condiments. Went back to the store and all they gave me was the bag of burgers and reassured me they were my burgers. No offer to remake the cold burgers. Our entire dinner was cold and soggy. Very disappointed since we normally love Habit.
The food is delicious but we found pieces of a toothpick buried in the grilled chicken sandwich. The only reason I found it was because we ordered it plain and it came with everything on it. Other items weren't made as ordered. First time we've had an issue here but it could have turned out way worse.
OMG what an awful establishment. Staff were playing with customers food, didn’t get any of my order correct. I complained to Patricio about that and the service and all he said was OK. Place was super quiet and yet the staff here had no idea how to represent the business with any level of professionalism. Fries were only warm and soft. Burger was thrown together and the meat was too pink for me to eat. I really couldn’t be bothered to complain because I had no confidence in the ability of the staff to fix their food and service.DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY
Bitterly disappointed in not only the service, but the food.A lot of fake reviews on this page.Small portions, rude and ignorant staff, but a clean looking place.Staff made stupid noises in the back, and non apologetic behaviour to late and incomplete orders.Fry's we're cold and late, burger was filled with mushy poor quality lettuce.
Placed my order at 2:50pm. Told it would be ready by 3:03pm. I walked in at 3:01pm and let the cashier know that I placed a mobile order and provided my name. She informed me that it was being worked on. After I received the text telling me my food was ready I informed her that I received the text. She told me it was being packaged up. Took 15 minutes and then got the manager who got my food from the mobile pick up area that was sitting in the pickup area behind the counter for 10 minutes. There is no sense of urgency and it's like the workers don't care. The bagger seemed like he cared but never turned around to help me with the rude cashier. I used to come to this location a lot and I think I will stick with in n out and Chick-fil-A.
Completed the order process at 815pm. Order was ready at 842pm. The consistency of the milkshakes I ordered were runny and melted. It had no thickness to it. Member of my party feels nauseous from dining there. They had the chocolate shake. The fries were cold and had an undercooked texture to it. The burger looked like it was cooked to a medium rare. Staff Members were standing around eating, drinking shakes, and chit chatting in the food preparation area. They had no sense of urgency.
Amazing burgers! Perfect onion rings! We will be back!
