Ok so ill be truthful. I didn't want to eat there. My lady had mentioned it earlier and I said he'll no. . .Well now they well become part of my take out places. I'll be returning for sure. There menu is simple and has Kito Diet options.There food was wonderful and more authentic then most of these Mexican food places.
I would hard pass on this place. I ordered a carne asada burrito this morning and literally half of the meat was gristle. Total rubber non chewable nasty hunks of the stuff normal people would trim off an throw away, not serve to someone. My wife got the California chicken burrito and found three inch long chicken bones inside. What a great surprise.
We tried this place because saw many people around it. This place is called Tacos Al Pastor and their version is basically sliced pork meat with very little bits of pineapple in your taco. The meat had no redish color from the achiote marinade. Their meat is completely flavorless. If you want the closest to authentic tacos Al pastor that are actually delicious go to Tacos Huicho (18th St and Oak) worth the drive. They have other locations but I can only speak of the one I have been to. No place I have been to for tacos al pastor come close to it. This place is at the bottom of my list for tacos al pastor.
they are authentic pastor tacos and the horchata is delicious. we come from Tucson just for the tacos
Good food. Fast service. They play music and there's a TV usually playing something live. It's definitely worth a try. And there is an ice cream store (la michoacana) right behind them AND a liquor store. 1 STOP SHOPPING
I ordered 5 carne asada tacos…too salty & the meat taste like it was bought at Food City? My lady ordered the beef birria taco w/cheese. No cheese & the meat was pork?!? Meal cost was over $34 for 9 tacos & 2 sodas.
On 12-02-2021 at 2250 hours, I stopped for a bite to eat after work. I didn’t think anything when three male employees laughed and looked my direction. When I got home to ate a carna asda taco with dirt in it. A lot of dirt. I guess that’s what the laughs were about. I won’t be a returning customer.
Not bad, carna asada burrito was mostly beans. tacos were good. little pricey
The carne asada isn't even authentic. Thick pieces of meat with a bunch of fat on it.
Food was basic and the wait was terrible, tables never cleaned very poor customer service and I will never eat there again.
