Food was good but feel that the portions are small for the money. I realize this is happening everywhere.
We go to different Sam's and seems like all taste different! This one not my favorite! Teriyaki sauce too sweet and meat dry! Could not eat the whole meal.
The taste is always there, one of my favorite places for a great teryaki bowl. The last few times I've gone my chicken has been dry particularly the white meat which is pretty common if it's over cooked. Back off a couple minutes on the grill time and that should fix the dryness problem.
Great food but dishes/ingredients seemed to be changed, not for the better in my opinion
I wanted to let management know just how pleasant, helpful and friendly the staff was today - especially Samuel who was running the registrar. I'm somewhat hard of hearing, but he and the staff were exceptionally polite and thorough ensuring that I got exactly what I wanted (food was great, and was ready extremely quick). Too often people complain but rarely do they acknowledge exceptional service, so I want to commend Samuel and the entire staff on a job well done! ?
Rude employees I asked for extra sauce had 3 bowls I asked for 6 . A min before I saw the guy in front of me get 3 for free . She then said well I have to charge you for all 6 did you not just give them 3 free ones ? Very rude and didn’t even say anything as I left . If I was paying for extra fine but making me pay for all 6 when you just gave 3 to the other guy . I even tipped them with the order and regret that now .
Originally I always went to the one off greenway or thunderbird (?) Which is relocated now; Back in the day with my moms . & they were just smaller then but so o good . since then I recently started to go back 35th and peoria is my go to but if im in this area & craving I stop by here .. Employees are nice but everytime I order the meat just is so dry . even with sauce loaded onto it , no need to rush maybe ? Maybe the other store set my standards pretty high lol
Great little restaurant and take out place the food is great you are in and out fast ?

So, I went in there to get a bowl for me and my boyfriend. The girl on register with glasses was nice, very sweet— but there was a bit of an issue.I ordered a (word for word) “vegetarian veggie bowl as a combo”. Then got another spicy vegetarian bowl combo for my boyfriend with her assistance. She replied with “with an egg roll?” And I replied yes, under assumption that it was a veggie egg roll, since I mentioned “vegetarian” three times and have previously had veggie egg rolls here.When I got my food however, there was only one combo, because she didn’t ring the other meal as a combo. The bowls were still filled with water too. It literally looked like soup. Then, when I took a bite of the egg roll, i immediately taste meat. I go back up to the counter, and tell the other blonde girl “um.. this roll has meat?” And she just goes “yes”. I just walked back to my seat and said “…okay”. And she walked away rolling her eyes. But, how rude and un-accommodating! I could get sick like that! No apology, no offer for maybe a cookie instead since I payed $22 with a tip.But it’s so ridiculous! I said I was vegetarian THREE times and they gave me a meat egg roll and soggy noodle water.Worst Samurai Sams ever, don’t go here ever unless you want to get sick from health code violations.
