2 stars for this Pita Kitchen because I'm comparing it to *another restaurant* that i meant to order from.*other Mediterranean restaurant* has more flavor, larger meat portions, fresh crispy veggies, and they give you a heaping meal! They set the bar for me.I ordered from this Pita Kitchen on accident and per their reply below, I guess they want to know what I ordered. I got a gyro and it was not great. It was edible and satisfied my hunger...but not great. Meat portion was almost nonexistent even though the description on the menu says it contains beef and lamb. It had a lot of tomatoes that were squishy so it really didn't seem fresh. I feel like I ate subway which is not what I was going for.
The best middle eastern for I've had in the west valley. Everything was cooked to perfection, even the chicken kabob, which tends to be on the dry side at most places. The hummus is done of the best I've had. And finally, the bread, it's fluffy, moist, and highly delectable. We'd be here a couple of times a week, if it weren't for the distance.
Second time here, both times were amazing. Everything is fresh and cooked so well. We've tried variations of pretty much everything between all the family members and there are no complaints. Definitely recommend the lamb osso bucco if they have it. Even their mixed vegetables are super good.
The gyros were very good. Also tried Lebanese beer for the first time and thought it was pretty good as well. What impressed me most was the friendly service at the counter. Wish more restaurants focused on service like this place.
We just moved here from out of state, loving it so far and this restaurant was recommended from a few people that we met. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the staff was courteous the restaurant was very clean and the food was freshly made to order. PS: very nice music selection ??
Do not order online with this company! This is the third time we have had major problems but this is the worst. We ordered gluten-free pitas which they charged us for and when my husband picked it up they said the order was good. After I looked at the pitas I didn’t think they looked right so I called and the girl said are they thin? I told her no she said they were not gluten-free and that in fact they had no gluten-free in stock anyway. I asked her why she didn’t let my husband know and all she said was sorry. I asked for my money back she would not oblige. I ask for the manager or owner’s number and she would not give it to me. When I explained I could’ve been deathly ill her only comment was sorry. She promised to call me back and never did. She knew they had no gluten-free pitas and put the correct number we had ordered in our order anyway. She had multiple opportunities to let us know and did not. On top of it they kept our money for the extra charge that they charge for gluten free pitas.
Really great, quiet place to have a wonderful meal. I've had several of the plates and none have disappointed. The service is friendly and nice. The options are plentiful and above all else the food is delicious. What more can you ask for.
We ordered entrees & were told 2 sides come with each, but we were charged extra for some of them. Food is good, prices are higher than most other similar restaurants. Steak shawarma portion is small for the money.
The food is great. I have tried three of the plates and added Hummus. really outstanding with the salads. it's also a nice quiet place to have dinner and read.
Great place to go! The food is fantastic. 100% recommended
