My husband and I got invited with a friend and it's our first time. Everything cooked fresh and crispy. They use a fresh oil. I ordered a broils cod and a calamari and my husband ordered fish and chips. We recommend this place to our place.
Got the Oscars combo plus hush puppies and split it with my daughter for lunch. Her first experience and she loved it. Everything was hot, crispy and cooked perfectly!
Oscar's Pier 83 reminds me of walking into a seafood restaurant along the coast. The decor was nautical, with photos of families on the beach and in the ocean. There's even a marlin on the wall! If you're craving fish-n-chips, fried clams, calamari, oysters, soft-shell crabs, broiled fish dinners, fish sandwiches, seafood salads, fish tacos, clam chowder or just want some fish bites and sides, then Oscar's Pier 83 is your restaurant. While most fish-n-chip restaurants offer one or two different kinds of fish, you can choose from many different kinds of fish! We ordered cod and haddock, fish-n-chips style, with fries and cole slaw. The batter on the fish was really thin and crispy (none of that heavy breading you get on most fried fish) and the fish was flaky and cooked just right. The fries are just as wonderful. The Shrimp Louis salad we ordered to share was so large we took some home with their home-made New England clam chowder. Everything was delicious - and we'll be back for sure!
First time ordering from here, ordered the jumbo tilapia tacos very tastie and big,wanted the salmon salad unfortunately they were out of Salmon so got the Mahi Mahi instead salad was fresh but light on the fish for the price. Lastly ordered the sweet potato fries they were superb. The food was very flavorful just seemed a little pricey. It's worth a try for sure.
This place has become a regular stop for us at least once a month. When we are craving fish we come here. They are known for their clam chowder soup (mmmmm tasty). They have all you can eat tilapia fish every day but Friday that comes with fries and coleslaw. They have giant tacos that is filled with meat of your choice and I chose fried shrimp. I love that you can prepare your own drink. Music is decent. Atmosphere is fun. I feel like it mostly attracts the senior citizens. The servers are all willing to help you when you wave them down. I would like to try their jumbo shrimp dinner the next time we come here.
My family and I have been coming here for years. Very fast service with excellent food (and refillable fountain drinks)! All around a great place, perfect for seafood lovers and those who feel guilty about leaving the sides uneaten — because you’ll actually want to finish everything on your tray here! Love the French fries. Definitely take a stab at the cheesecake while you’re here too.

If you like seafood ? then this is the place to eat fish, shrimp, oysters, and clams. They have daily specials and we like the all you can eat fish (everyday but Friday). The clam chowder is hearty and tasty especially with oyster crackers. They make their tartar sauce in house and so ? delicious with the fish. If you like tacos then this is the place with your favorite meat. I love the cabbage filling and tomatoes (not crazy for tomatoes but will eat here). One of the workers recommended me to try the haddock and jumbo shrimp. She said I was missing out. Therefore, I will take that advice for our next visit. Great atmosphere with good Ole 70 to 80s music. Friendly service. Enjoy.
My fiancé and I walked in having never been before and we ordered a bunch of stuff. We got the clam chowder, I got a Mahi taco which was huge, we got hush puppies, she got fish and chips with sweet potato fries, then we got some slaw and seafood salad, plus some cake. It was a little expensive but when it comes to seafood you can’t be cheap. It was amazing, we were very impressed. The kid at the counter I didn’t catch his name but he was young with medium length hair and he was great. We will be going back, it was great.
Great, amazing, juicy, delicious, intuitive, are all words I’d use to describe this place. Took my parents here and they loved it. The tacos are huge and delicious and the fish n’ chips are great. It’s a great place to go for takeout if you’re sick of all the regular places because this place is anything but.
