Wife and I have not eaten here in over 4 years. A Saturday morning around 8, not busy. We were seated right away. Christina our server greeted us and brought our drinks. After a few minutes of looking at the menu, nothing jumped out at me. I settled for the chicken and waffles. 2 good sized waffles accompanied by 3 small dry pieces of chicken with a bland coating. My wife had the ham ,eggs, potatoes and toast that was delivered burned. We also split a muffin ( highlight of our meal ). $43 plus tip.

First time coming here and omg I had such a wonderful experience! Pamela attended us and couldn’t asked for anyone better ! She deserves a raise ! I will definitely come again food was so delicious 😋
Mother's Day Nightmare!Our reservations were for 11:30. We arrived 15 minutes early. We didn't get seated until 12:30.Hostess was overwhelmed / rude / short.The chairs are filthy and in need of reupholstery.Their espresso machine was broken.Light, gassy, odor was noticed off and on.Hand painted occupancy signs all over. Looks shoddy.Allowed patrons to block emergency exit.Meals took ~ 40 minutes to be served.Eggs Benedict was hard boiled and broken down holandaise had flour added to rethicken.Others had no complaints. Portions were good. But like we've all noticed what used to cost $10 two years ago costs $15 today.The one real positive note was our server, Claire. She had to have been exhausted at that point in the day...but was cheerful, energetic, and on her service game.Conclusions:Someone made the obvious decision to completely overbook the restaurant. The staff were overwhelmed. The restaurant looks like it is on its last legs. Needs a complete remodel.I understand at one point Mimi's had a great reputation, but this was my first experience and it will likely be my last.
Sunday Funday! Arrived for a late brunch.. it was calm inside, not crowded. Was given a very spicy Bloody Mary, which was actually my daughter’s chosen drink. Hot Mama! I drank it while chewing on Rolaid tablets. Nk Food was ok. Nothing spectacular… But not bad either. Four hrs later my digestive system is very mad at me for consuming that spicy ? drink. My own fault for not sending it back. Ya live and ya learn…
My 1st time at Mimi's❗I just went there to get one of they're famous BLUEBERRY CRUMBLE muffins. It's made with sweet vanilla batter baked with blueberries and topped with blueberry crumble. To not to go as usual with a cup of coffee ☕️, I choose a glass of MIMI-MOSA.A champagne split and orange ? juice with a tangerine burst. Very Yummy ? Nice and clean Ambience with very friendly waiters❗
The restaurant smelled of something rotting/sitting water or an open sewage drain. The service was not the best except for one waitress whom served us who really did try her best (but looked very anxious! Especially explaining why food was taking so long). I put no blame on any of the workers for how long things took.... But there was only one chef for the evening and 2 waitresses. My Son and I waited a good Hour and eighteen minutes to receive our food. Luckily our drinks came out on time as well as the chowder that I ordered but it took an hour plus for a steak and grilled cheese sandwich to be cooked and our waitress kept returning to our table asking "what was that you ordered again?" Frustrating but as I said it was very short staffed and the other woman working was wiping down tables. The meal was not worth the $52+ that I paid. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I know that is a very negative thing to say. But this was a well deserved review. Will not be returning again. As this was a waste of money in my opinion. You win some you lose some!
It seems like a very great place to eat, however for the 50 minute wait and then we waited almost an hour and a half for our food. Forgot 2 orders and 2 sides then forgot one of the same orders. My daughter got her food last, we were all done. Didn't get our Mimosa's until our food. It was a complete mess. For the amount of money that was spent should've been a helluva lot better in our opinion. I don't think we'll be back.
This is about our third or fourth visit to Mimi's. It's nice to find a restaurant that is quieter now a days. Fashioned with a French design which is reflected somewhat on the menu. We have never been disappointed. Prices are decent, food is good. We had a Birthday in the group and she received a free dessert to help celebrate. I would reccomend.
Went here with a very large group and staff were so accommodating and did great despite the size of our group. However, giving three stars because the food itself really wasn't great. I had the jambalaya and the sauce didn't have as much flavor as I hoped and chicken was dry. The steak was relatively unflavored and someone in the group had to send back chicken pot pie because it tasted off.Also the ac was blowing far too cold, and though we asked for them to make it warmer, it would only warm up for a few minutes before blowing cold again.
