Fired all of their long term staff, went corporate and changed the menu. New ownership has done damage to this place
I had not been to Max's Sports Bar before and just wanted to check it out. I am glad that I did. It is a fun environment and really good food. I am looking forward to my next visit.
Off track betting and bar plus tvs everywhere. You can bring a child but sometimes it might be better not too. Waitstaff can be great or just ok. But never truly bad. Drinks are pretty good and you can have a more relaxed bar scene while watching the horses or dogs race.

It's a nice big beautiful place very woomy nice son atmosphere a lot of great TVs a little behind the counter is great she's a good person it's just a great place to hang out at I don't drink anymore but it's a good place to have a soda or water or if you drink and only have a beer but not too many cuz you know lose their common sense you know it's just a great place I can go hang out bet your horses and Watts you know there's tons of TVs and helmets old helmets colleges like Ball State and San Diego State Michigan Michigan State Ohio Ohio State you know Notre Dame pictures of movies not movie stars like well like Larry Fitzgerald and Al McCoy of the sons and it's a great place great place to go hang out and do your button meet friends now
My company come there for our Meeting and no one was there to Help Jeanette she was a trooper she waited on us and she had no help I felt bad for her but she stayed Professional and that's a great Character trait
I absolutely LOVE Max's, it's full of regulars and old people but it's super chill and has great drinks specials, club sandwiches, fries, onion rings, burgers, and wings are almost always my go-to. You can take the kids too it's family-friendly so we often eat dinner there and I enjoy my ICE COLD draft or my favorite a bloody mary. The Bartender is this little petite lady with short reddish-brown hair. She is always greeting us with a big smile and she hooks us up with the best drinks and Shirley temples. I will miss this place when I move to the East Valley. Great Neighborhood bar with chill vibes. The patio is cool too ...:)
The service makes this place great. Other than that it's really a place showing its age. Needs to update the TVs, maybe add a cigar shop. Add a projector or large TV for those big TV events. People will come.
