I would appreciate it if when I order extra crumbles from long John silver's, and they confirm that extra crumbles were ordered, that they actually put them in the bag with the order!!!!!
We needed seafood for our Ash Wednesday lunch and found this Taco Bell / Long John Silvers on the way back from church, and so did a few others. Do you know how long it’s been since we’ve been to a Long John Silvers? I don’t either as they have pretty much disappeared in our state. The Shrimp was really good as were the Hushpuppies. The Fries, not so much, but we didn’t need them anyway. The service was average, they definitely catered to the drive through. There would be long stretches when nobody was at the counter. This only mattered because my iced tea needed to be refilled behind the counter. The locks on the restroom were a little odd as well. There you have it, my review.
Always a plus with the variety of Long John Silvers & Taco Bell together. Not enough shrimp to complete the order, but they made up for it by offering more fish to compensate.
I will give only one star because of how hungry I was. I went through drive thru to order a family meal and was asked to please go park to wait for the chicken which was expected no problem. 20 minutes roll around then 30 minutes. I see other cars parked getting their food and I’m still waiting. I see one of the workers and ask where is my order since it was order more then 30 minutes ago she said sorry let me find out. We’ll never came back out. Mind you you I had surgery recently so getting in and out of my car is not the easiest task right now. I eventually had to go in, show them my receipt and of course it didn’t seem as if anyone knew what was going on. One worker said they gave my food to someone else and threw her coworker under the bus and then another worker said they hadn’t even packed the order. They packed my food quickly which I took out of the bags to check and asked for the sauces I originally requested, she points behind me and says the sauces are behind you. I said you can get me the sauces requested, please and thank you. (She had to clearly see I was hunched over from pain) I then asked for my meal to be refunded and she said “ sorry I can give you a refund or your food but I have an extra piece of fish”. I asked if she was the manager and to be honest she didn’t even seem confident about that. She said well yeah one of them ….. BE BETTER !!!!! I get it, there’s lots of new hires and restaurants are short staffed but this just didn’t happen yesterday okay! We have been in this stupid pandemic or whatever you want to call it now for years. Have a plan in place to provide great customer service at the very least!!! So I will say to you the “manager” that DIDN’T really assist me. You probably shouldn’t be a manager at all!
This place was horrible i couldn’t even swoll I almost puked it was so bad never aging. DO NOT RECOMMEND TRUST ME THIS IS HORRIBLE. There tables where not clean it was very gross and greasy. If you wanna puke and die go there. Good luck!
Good and fast it just sucks that the long john slivers closes early then the taco bell
Paid for a simple order of two fish and one chicken. Got home and opened the box. Two hush puppies and fries. Incompetent.
Fish was thin and not flaky. Did not appear fresh.Not on bed of scrunchies. Shrimp Ok. Went based on Lobster Bites advertised on TV. They did not have them . Neither did they have Cod fish. Went around 1 PM. When posting this comment, the store on line says ,temporarily closed.
FYI the long johns is closed might be nice if they mentioned that online because we drove awhile just to get it and then all they had was taco bell so now we're here and starved and don't know where to go..... wonderful ugh really put out
Been wanting to have some LJS since moving back to the Valley. We left town in 04 and lived in a place where my closest LJS was a solid 2 hours away. So having been back now since December of 2020, today was going to be the day I was going to have LJS! WOW, what a mistake in picking this location. The food was horrible! Everything was over cooked and looking at my pictures you will see what I'm talking about. The shrimp was shriveled up to nothing, fish was also the same way. The 2 hushpuppies I got were disgusting. First one was all batter and maybe a marble size of cornmeal in the center, the second one I bit into exploded into air! The thing just crumbled because the center had fried away! It was a hollow batter ball! Covid has put a damper on self serving condiment stations. Gone were the \\\"good\\\" tartar sauce pumps only to be replaced with sweet disgusting Heinz tartar sauce packets! I don't think having combo stores are a good fit with Taco Bell. I had a similar experience at the 7th St. and Alice location as well. I think way too many people order Taco Bell and LJS isn't ordered as much so the employees don't make it as much and they don't perfect the proper way of making it.What should be a golden brown ends up being a rust colored dried out junk. I also think they change out the fryer oiler to often either judging by the disgusting taste.
