After reading all the great reviews about Kiss the Cook decided to go for breakfast since it is only 5 minutes from where I am staying. Ordered eggs Benedict and was very disappointed….the hollandaise had separated, poached eggs were hard and the English muffin was flatter than a pancake. My waitress was very attentive and the muffins served before my meal came were delicious. I will try them one more time, could have been an off morning!

First time there got there @ 700 opening time staff very friendly fast good food I had the special chicken fried steak with real chopped tatters, got two homemade cinnamon rolls to go clean place look’s like it’s been there around awhile portions were good sized

Awesome food, awesome service. We went for mother's day and enjoyed breakfast on the patio. Good variety of food and hands down the best orange juice I've ever had

I have been coming to Kiss the Cook for over 25 yrs. This downtown Glendale establishment is like you are stepping into the past. The place is decorated with vintage items & the food is served on mismatched China dishes. The food's quality is top notch. They have been featured on Diner's Drive it's & Dives. Be willing to wait especially on the weekends there is always a wait list. Don't get discouraged it will be worth the wait. All the staff treat you like family. It is apparent when you see all the customers that they know by name. My go to menu item for breakfast is the Jalapeño Popper Egg Benedict . This is a new addition to the menu. Also you can never go wrong with the Pecan Cinnamon Roll. After your belly is satisfied and your falling asleep from food coma the check is delivered with Hersey kisses . ( Super cute it plays of the name.) I highly recommend to anyone to visit this restaurant and see what all the hype is about.

Visiting Peoria, AZ, and went out of our way to visit Glendale for the day. Started at Kiss the Cook...very disappointing. In dire need of a good old fashioned cleaning...From top to bottom. I chose the Veggie omelette. The veggies were not sauteed very well and it tasted like an egg wash, not fresh eggs. Mostly it was the dirty clutter filling the dining room and subpar food. Don't go out of your way like I did.

Wonderful restaurant. Delicious food. I got the Eggs Benedict

Cajun omelet was sooo yummy. Decor is always so cute & homey. Love their mugs you can purchase. Service was really just delightful. So helpful & friendly & never had to wait for anything. Zucchini mini muffins served in a basket with every meal are just the best! We have been going here for a long time & it is always a great experience.

We search out locally owned places, and you can’t find a better example than this. It was so good, we went back twice. Our choice was the Country breakfast, eggs cooked perfectly to order, potatoes seasoned nicely, the sausage gravy was served over a soft biscuit and the two strips of bacon crisp and tasty. The server was very friendly and new many of the people who came in. The decor, a working antiques and collectibles store was unique and worked well.

Amazing Little place. Small and old part of town but the food was great!

We just stopped by on our way out of town. The employees were friendly and full of great tips for places to visit. There were three of us and everyone got something different. Everyone's food was delicious. The bread basket had zucchini and bran muffins in it and both were outstanding.
