I love Einstein’s, but I will not be back to this location. I asked while I was ordering for my bagels to be sliced, then again when I paid and the guy said he’ll tell them but then just stood there. My bagels did not get sliced, and they put 1/2 dozen bagels in the smallest bag they could. It would be nice if the air conditioning would be turned up, it’s quite hot in there. No wonder why this location is not on the app to order ahead.
Used to be one of favorite places I can’t go here anymore. No one has a clue what is going on. Einstein’s May be the greatest form of irony I have seen.. no labels on any of the bagels. Manager said can’t get labels anywhere ? Ummm a printer and some photo paper!! Just zero effort trying to rescue this place. The only plus is the lovely older man who works there who always has a smile on his face.
I lobe einstein bagels Ive been to most around the valley amd this one us by far the worst. I got a Pumpernickel bagel its so tiny. I paid full price for what feels like a miniture bagel. Who ever is cooking back there should be replaced
Use to love Einstein's by my old house moved to a new area and this one is the closest and is an absolute disappointment to the brand! Wrong orders, out of everything always, slow service, and just poorly ran and managed! Not to mentioned dirty, broken tables, etc...
I used to love Einstein's. The bagels now are way smaller with hardly any seasoning. I asked for it toasted an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. It was hardly toasted to the point where the bagel was cold throughout. Normally, the bagels would be hot and freshly baked and toasted to perfection. Not this time!. For 3.95 I'd say ill be making bagels at home from now on.
First time here and it's a definite no-go! My bacon turned to dust upon biting it. One star for the pumpernickel bagel. Way too expensive for bacon flavored dust. Look at the picture, those bacon flakes were what the put on my bagel. Sad breakfast ?
I periodically go there once a week after my weekend night shifts on my way home. There are typically about 3-4 teenagers there working. I only saw one this morning doing it all by herself. I’m not sure if anyone was scheduled with her or they just didn’t show up for their shifts. She was a kind young lady with pink hair. She’s there everytime I come in on weekends. She is the one that is not on her phone, in the back prepping bagels, working registers and making food. Today being there alone I felt she was a little overwhelmed but still did not complain. A young lady these days who agrees to take a job on a weekend at 4am-5am and works hard is hard to find. I hope and pray she is rewarded. Not only with praise but a promotion and or a bonus/raise she deserves. This is for location on 79th and Bell Road in Glendale AZ.
The inside looks abandoned and run down. They are out of so many supplies. It took 30 minutes for avocado toast and tea, but there was only two other people in the restaurant. There was three workers but only one of them was really doing something. One of the workers even mentioned how making tea is stressful. I’ll never come here again. Should’ve read the reviews before I came here.
There's several things. I have never had a negative experience at an Einsteins location until today.Let's start with health precautions. Not a single mask on any of the employees or customers. Not even sign with a lackluster recommendation to wear one. If you want to increase your chances of catching Covid, then this is the place to go. My personal money will not be supporting a business that cares so little for their staff or customers. The counter staff was more involved with conversations and showing off pics of their kid, than helping customers. They could have easily taken my order, then had their pic sharing time. But no, I was the one that had to wait.I specifically said not to toast one of the bagels I ordered, because the person who it was intended for has dental problems and can't easily eat a toasted bagel. So of course they toasted it. Now I'm having to go to the mall to go to a different bagel place to get that person a bagel. There was a man who clearly was in training, but the other employees acted irritated that they had to answer his questions. With only one order on the screen, they could have easily taken a second to answer his questions. I feel sorry for that guy. From now on I'll make the drive out to the bagel shop up off the Carefree Highway. I won't step foot in an Einsteins location again.
Caribou coffee!
