Upon arrival we were greeted immediately by Gabby who was also our server. She was very attentive and quick to ask if we wanted any drinks before ordering. We were served our drinks and Gabby explained the menu and the spices. Our food arrived in a timely manner. My wife had the pound of shrimp and added sausage and the bread bowl of clam chowder, which she found both to be succulent and nicely seasoned to her taste. I had the pound of mussels with the spicy sauce on the side. The mussels were seasoned perfectly and the sauce was approximately spicy for my taste. Gabby checked in with us a couple times during our meal to inquire if we needed anything else.We will certainly return for the mussels, shrimp, clam chowder and to try the other menu items.
Nice menu options. Clean place and wasn't busy when we were there which seemed it deserved bigger crowds, but this time of the year and on Tuesdays may not be a lot of sports out. We were there closer to 1pm. Unusual that a restaurant doesn't open until noon.Would rather say 4.5 stars because fish breading seemed be a little overdone/dark. Flavor was good. Fries were good. Prices are reasonable for the area. Portions not big but not too small.
I wasn’t a fan of the spice flavor would be better if we had an option of seasoning on the side tooo….but will recommend to others…
Clam chowder, creamy with good amount of clams. Perfect, definitely recommend. The Crab Fries so tasty, packed with enough flavors. The Castaway Combo freshest seafood boil I’ve had in Arizona. Customer service was great! Waitress was nice & the music was explicit, Kehlani & R&B vibes.
I took my family here to try this new restaurant. We were pleasantly greeted by the hostess and they prepared our table. It was 11:30 so I think there was only one other person in the restaurant so we had plenty of attention provided to us. Ryan served us and did a great job. He was very attentive but I think we were his only table at the time.I had the 8 shrimp combo meal and chose to peal the shrimp myself to get the true experience. Being a native I’m not use to peeling shrimp so it was an interesting experience. Shrimp had a nice flavor and seasoned fries were nice and crisp. My kids had the popcorn chicken with seasoned fries and wife had the tilapia which she said was good.All I can say is you need to try this new establishment for yourself to form your own opinion. Why let a potential great experience pass you by because someone gives their opinion of which you base your decision? Welcome to Peoria and we’ll be going back.
This may have been the best seafood I have had! The shell of the crab was easy to break with moist meat, not rubbery as I've experienced several times before. I got the captain meal ($39), came with a lobster tail, 1/2 lbs crab (I forget which type), plenty of sausage, and corn. The spice I had selected was the spicy crab with lemon garlic, original heat level. Beats Joe's crab shack easily, and is as good or better than the angry crab. Do yourself a favor and order the crab fries. The service was on par with expectations, as the staff was all very friendly and attentive! I have zero complaints about my experience.
Food was not boiled right Seasonings and spices were dumped on top nothing even like a good cajun boil The service sucks waitresses were horrible did not refill drinks did not check on us until given the tab
this place has worse customer service ever 40 min wait for claim chowder and I had to go get it myself unheard. We asked for our utensils and sides and I had to get them myself. Called manager they did nothing to rectify the horrible dining experience. Food over priced. Flavorless at that but went to give it another go from last time… this time service was way worse !! don’t recommend!!
Theress seated me she was very sweet. Skylar was my server and recommended the spice level. She is an amazing asset to this establishment. She is knowledgeable, helpful and an all around jewel!! Juan prepared my food to perfection!!!!
We were there on Feb 11 at 5:30. Promply seated. Ordered and all came except my husbands. We were nearly finished eating when his order arrived. It was over fried and not . There was no compensation on our bill. Only “sorry your food is late” He ordered a very simple shrimp basket. Cannot recommend this eatery.
