Me and my girlfriend went and it was so good the icecream is delicous and affordable. We also tried the peach lemonade and the macaroons both very good.
Tan Coyote with oat milk was delicious! This cute coffee shop connected to a mercantile shop takes me back to roadtrips with my great grandparents. Special candies, Thrifty Ice Cream, trinkets for kids...Be sure to have a Coyote Oatie cookie too!
The coffee and snacks were great, the service was great, and the decorations were great. Everything is styled with a vintage look and even the ice cream is made by hand instead of store bought. Really great place would recommend giving it a check.
Just an amazing place! The White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Oatmeal cookie was out of this world good. Incredible atmosphere!!
I've been here twice and probably won't after the most recent time.In terms of the food and drink items, no complaints-they were delicious. However, that was overshadowed by the lack of customer service. I was there this past weekend with a family member. We walked up to the counter and the three employees made eye contact but did not acknowledge us and took several minutes to take our order. We were the only two customers in there so it didn't make sense why it took so long for one of the employees to help us. We would've walked out without ordering but were there for a very specific item for a relative's birthday. Overall, we felt unwelcome and will not be going back.
Showed up on a whim traveling home and was greeted by the very warm and welcoming owners. Just my luck a couple of their Favorites were just coming out of the oven! I chatted a bit and learned about their famous cookies, purchased 3 and hit the road to head back home. This shop is off of Glendale and before I could hit Northern I had finished all 3! I will definitely be back next time I’m on that side of town! Thank you!!
I was rolling around Downtown Glendale yesterday. I was super excited when I spotted this place because I absolutely love oatmeal cookies. The place was charming and i looked around as I patiently waited for service. A few more groups of people walked in after me and the young girl behind the counter looked right at me and went to help them. I decided to raise my wheelchair hoping she just didn't see me. Nope! She walked right past me looking directly at me and didn't say a word. Instead of making a scene I left and went to the shop nextdoor. While there the owner of the cookie shop came in. I decided to let him know about my experience. Unfortunately, he was even worse. He was unfriendly. He also seemed to be irritated and uninterested in my horrible experience. I suggest skipping this spot if you're in the area. Especially if you are a disabled shopper.
The service is always exceptional. Plus the macaroons they sell are amazing, especially when you purchase a twisted tea, with boba.
The little town of Glendale, and the downtown area is amazing - I love spending my weekends at the shops and restaurants. Sadly, I shopped at the Coyote Mercantile, which is directly next door, and owned by the same person. While the antique shop is adorable, the policies are not. I bought myself a breadbox, and went home to find out that my hubby had bought me one for Christmas - the store (Coyote Mercantile) would not let me return it! So I am stuck with two antique breadboxes. I will never shop at this store again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Moving forward, this little place is removed from my list, and a definite NOT returning ever again! I left my phone number before the holidays so that the owner could call me to discuss returning my breadbox - she still has not called!
This place was pretty incredible! Oatmeal cookies you can make a meal out of! ??I highly recommend this place. I've been coming here for years, and this was probably just as good as every other visit. Amazing coffee and deli food and teas and cookies. Giant cookies. Yeah, I like it! Imagine taking comfort food and turning it into a cookie. That's what this place did. ?❤️If you haven't been here, then you really haven't been to downtown Glendale.??I was a really bummed that Glendale moved the Glitter holiday light event to the Arena. The mayor and the council left the downtown businesses to fend for themselves. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, it was a giant festival for the month of December. People's livelihoods depended on it—all the festivities and photo booths and food trucks and jewelry stands and live entertainment really made downtown Glendale something special and super memorable.Contact City council and tell 'em that was a bone-headed move. ??
