I ordered food from here on Postmates, the chicken and waffles were really good, the cinnamon rolls was good as well, however the hash browns I ordered were great until I bit into a ball of salt. I do plan to order from here again, they’re good is great! Just had one minor inconvenience.
I’ve worked in the Citadelle for a while but had never tried this cute little place until today. I had Jillian as my server and she was so helpful. I’m a vegetarian so I didn’t think they’d have much options for me. But they have a whole vegan menu and are super helpful when it comes to health consciousness. I will be returning soon hopefully!! Thank you to all the staff for such a wonderful, relaxing patio breakfast!!
Great service and plenty of food for a great price. Ordered two eggs over easy, corned beef, and hash browns. Everything was perfectly cooked, but the hash browns were overly salty.
Ordered the country omelette. 4 eggs, THICK bacon, sausage, taters, mushrooms and arguably the best hash browns I've ever had. Opted for the biscuits, which I found out were homemade, homemade strawberry jam. With tip, it was cheaper than Denny's or IHOP and 3 times as good. Service was top notch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Huge portions and the food is OK. The service was good. Some reviews indicated that the service was slow, but that was not our experience. We were there for breakfast, but they also have a lunch menu. To be honest, nothing stood out as exceptional but nothing was bad. You can certainly plan that one meal will lead to leftovers for another day. They also have a nice outside seating area if that is important to you.
Chicken fried steak wasn't too bad. Needed salt. Had a table of 5 and was seated in a back room that was cold. Waited for 20 mins without anyone checking on us or drinks. I called the front and then throughout the rest of the 1.5 hours being here, I felt we were not being serviced well. Constantly waiting, grabbing the attention of other staff... Will not be raving how great this place is. Staffing didn't appear to be an issue...
Great menu! Staff was highly attentive and courteous, the food was AMAZING! I had the Greek Avacado Toast, 1 side of fruit, and 1 side biscuit with gravy. The toast was well portioned, eggs were a perfect over medium, biscuit and gravy was just like Mom's!I would highly reccomend!
My litmus test for breakfast places is the quality of their corned beef hash. Mamma mia! No exaggeration, this was the best eggs and corned beef hash I've had in memory. Not the diced little chips. Instead, bite-sized strips of lean well-seasoned corned beef ~ rubbed and prepared to perfection by the restaurant ~ with poached eggs prepared perfectly to my preference. The pancakes, buttery and light ~ scrumptious! Been there twice in one week and plan to return for other selections. We're hooked on the place, not only for the quality of its food but also its cleanliness and the quality of its service as exemplified by our server Melissa.
This restaurant is great. Honestly one of my all time favorites. The food is consistently good and the service is always top notch.
