As someone who is gluten free I love the choices at AjoAls. The Blanco chicken enchilada is terrific. The shredded all white meat chicken is excellent. This is my first choice of Mexican restaurants in the arrowhead area. My whole family loves it also. A beautiful restaurant wit great food and a great reward program!
We celebrated our 23 year anniversary today at Ajo Al's. The server was kind, friendly, helpful and informative. The margarita was deeeelicious! Our food was served hot, and tasted great 😋. I highly recommend Ajo Al's for good food, good service and a great time.
The food is great, call in and pick up is extremely convenient. Loyal customer!
Great place for dinner, bean dip was delicious, I wouldn’t get my chimichanga with green sauce again, makes it mushy & takes away from the purpose of a fried burrito.
Went on a weekday afternoon. Super high ceilings and nice decor. Had a nice young man as waiter, he was new and was trying hard to please… he succeeded! Free thin crisp chips and salsa ( 2 kinds, one was a chipotle ) were good. Ordered a chicken chimichanga and it was VERY good, crunchy outside and ~loaded~ with mild cooked shredded chicken, covered in sauce ( red or green, your choice) with rice ( kinda bland) and beans ( a nice flavorful puddle) the trio of tacos ( carne asada, carnitas, brisket,) were “street taco” size ( mini) and not a favorite of ours. I have already returned for another chicken chimichanga and it did not disappoint. Ole’
Went with friends for a quick dinner. Best carnitas street tacos I’ve had in a long time. Daughter loved her dinner too…queso con pollo. And funky atmosphere. Service was good.
I have only been here a handful of times but every-time is great. I have their rewards program and today they had buy one get one to go margaritas. I was original told I could purchase more than one and then when I actually made the order was told different so that’s why I’m only doing 4 stars but the manager did offer an extra to go margarita for the misinformation which was cool. Food is good, we also got jalapeño bean dip and salsa which is really good. The 16 oz margaritas were perfect! Will definitely be back!!
It was my girlfriend's and my first visit this past Saturday. We only had a little wait to be seated. Our waitress was Michaela and she was quite attentive. My sweetie ordered the chicken enchilada and I ordered the Mexican Pizza. Our food came quickly and was divine! We now have a new place to add to our date night repertoire. Well done to you and all the staff!
In a recent pol this restaurant group was named the number one Mexican place for food. Since I live fairly close to the restaurant I decided to give it a try. Really happy I did. It has some wonderful twists and turns that make it very special. The salsa could use a little more kick but the food was excellent. I ordered the street tacos for $8 and you can separate the shells to make (4) even though the order comes with (2). Great value in my opinion. They also make a Mexican style pizza that I will try in the near future. You can order it unbaked too if you want to take it home. I joined their club to get on their points program. Give this place a try - I think you will like it.
Superb food with amazing atmosphere. Nice comfortable booths. Very enjoyable dining experience I have had for many years coming to Ajo Al's.
