The food is always great, but this establishment has turned into an absolute dump as far as cleanliness. I was actually shocked to see how filthy the back hallway and bathrooms were. There's graffiti all over the men's room and the bathrooms aren't maintained at all. I expect a different experience when it costs $40± per person
The name is a misnomer, there was only 1 sushi item on the menu. It is instead a hibachi grill type of place that combines tableside entertainment with cooking. A fun place to go for dinner and a show, but be prepared to spend at least 3 figures.
I asked for medium well steak and received an illegal amount of charred, extra well steak. We ordered two steak plates and both were mostly burnt. For $63 it was absolutely not worth it to say the least. The portion is also quite small for the price. The rice is always good and even the side salad. But the steak should never be burnt, no matter how well done someone likes their steak. Do better!
Cook was horrible! He came out with eggs already scrambled in a container. When mixing the rice made a complete mess everywhere, vegetables were lightly cooked (he flash steamed them with fire and water). He tried the onion volcano but didn't set the pyramid up correctly and basically turned into a giant ball of fire as liquid was seeping out from under the pyramid of onions. Shrimp lacked taste as he only cooked with butter, no lemon, soy sauce, or spices at all. The steak was slightly overcooked. The chicken was in little pieces as he cut it into large chucks, continued to cook it and cut it into smaller pieces to ensure it was done (which I appreciate not biting into undercooked chicken) but ended up with tiny bite size pieces. He did finally use the lemons to clean the cooking surface after he was done. It was a real letdown as we went there for my son's 6th birthday. You know something is off when a 6 year old looks at you and gives you a look like what is that, what is he doing. You may want to try a different place and steer clear.
This is a Amazing Place. Great food and atmosphere. Easy menu and high priced. Great service all around. Lots of parking and well lit. Kid friendly and nice layout. Food is great and a ton of it. Chefs are entertaining and friendly. Highly recommended. Delivery and take out. Waitress and chef share tips. However, tipping the Chef direct is recommended.
What an experience! And the sushi is great quality! Highly recommend! :)
Not as sexy as Benihana but the same rodeo. Portions are larger. Menu is bigger. No chicken fried rice. So more bang for your buck.
We went today for Valentine’s Day and it was a party of 3 us and our daughter. When we sat down everything was okay until the chef starting serving. The portions of the food were not okay because my husband and I got so little of the chicken and the veggies. Other people at the table did get enough of each serving. Plus the menu says that for gratuity they will charge a 18% if it’s a group of 6 or more . It was $20 what they charged us because it does not count having other people that were not our family at the same table. It was our first time and our last. Plus I asked for a sushi roll and they took the wrong one so I ended up paying $150 for 2 people, and one side extra of fried rice. It’s ridiculous they charge so much for gratuity when got wrong items I ordered and got little bit of food. Not going back to this restaurant!!!!
Not good at all. Hibachi combo was $36. It was totally flavorless and greasy. Had I not paid $50 for the full meal, I would’ve thrown it away.
I enjoyed my experience. The place wasn't too busy at 8pm on a Tuesday so we shared a table with another group with 2 chairs between the parties. The chef was funny guy and me and my party had a great time.
