My family and I love this place!! The food is very fresh! My favorite is the grilled chicken club. The chicken is juicy. I highly recommend getting a double burger as the patties can be slightly thin (although we cook 1/2lb burgers at home). The ranch tastes homemade and the drinks and the ice cream are delicious! I can't recommend it enough!
If I could give zero stars I would. I love habit burger, but this location gave my wife and I terrible customer service. When we went through the drive through, they took a really long time and got our order wrong. My wife tried to explain what we ordered but before we were finished correcting the order they shut the window on us. When they came back, they still didn’t get it right. They put things on that we didn’t ask for and took things off that we wanted on. We ordered fries and drinks but didn’t get them. We tried to explain that, but the guy argued with us and just gave us a tiny plate of fries with our two wrong burgers. We won’t ever go to that habit burger again.
We have been enjoying hamburgers and fries at this location of The Habit since it opened. However, when we went there yesterday it was a huge disappointment. Here are the 2 main reasons. And an observation. First of all is the hamburger meat. It wasn't anything near the quality of the burgers we've eaten here before. No where near - and I have no idea what kind of hamburger it was but the texture and flavor were not good at all. My husband said his hamburger had the least flavor of any hamburger he's ever eaten there. The second thing is the pricing. It now costs $5.00 to add fries and a drink to the order. Their fries are really good; but we can't help but think about how much more we could purchase at the grocery store. And, yes, there is also the convenience aspect of eating out to take into consideration. But $5.00? The observation is that we were there at lunchtime and there were very few customers, either at the drive through or inside. Maybe other people noticed what we did.
First time trying Habit Burger. Overall, I would call it a solid burger joint. Service was friendly and the interior clean. Tried the regular charbroiled burger. It was good, nothing special, but good. I tried their fried green beans and they were good with just the right amount of crisp. Also love that they have Mr Pibb in the soda lineup! If you’re looking for just a solid, run of the mill burger joint, Thus place won’t let you down, just don’t expect anything amazing or unique.
Our sweet potato fries came out black and they served them to us that way, my burger was pink and still cold and my wife's chicken sandwich was hard, crunchy and inedible. I left here highly unsatisfied and still hungry, now I have to go spend money somewhere else to feed my family. This is one of the few bad reviews I have ever done because I try and find some good but it was a horrible experience and other people were having some of the same issues as I was.
First time here. Worst experience, probably didn't help that I was already having a bad day but I was just looking forward to a good burger. When we got there it wasn't busy since it was about 9:30pm. We ordered the new Santa Barbara burger which was a double patty with avocado and sourdough bread, I was starving and excited. I was even willing to wait the 20 min it took. Got it to go and when I got home to eat it, it was a single regular cheeseburger that was so bland I only choked it down out of pure hunger. Not happy!
I was a first- time visitor to this burger chain - a late lunch on a Wednesday. Andrew was excellent in meal recommendations ( the Santa Monica Char?) and went out of his way to ensure every was as promised. Fantastic burger, fries and great drink selection. My new favorite burger joint!! Hope they keep expanding locations!! Great “faster” food!!
The Habit is a really solid burger joint. Things are made to order, and the staff can be quite friendly at this location. I've had experiences where it feels like they are more looking forward to going home sometimes, but it's like 1 out of 3 times kinda thing, as it feels like I've never gotten the same employee twice. The indoors are kept nice and clean every time I go. Fingers crossed they keep up this standard, it makes it a joy to go everytime.
Food was good but the restaurant smelled like sewer. They definitely need to hire a plumber immediately before nobody comes back. Most likely it is the floor drains or an open sewer line somewhere.
The burgers were good, onion rings were delicious. Wish the fries would have some sort of seasoning, but they were good too still. Cones were delicious too.The negatives I have is for this specific restaurant location. This is the first time I have eaten at a Habit. It smelled like mildew from when I first walked in, to when I left after dining in. The mix of mildew and burgers made the place smell like rotten eggs a bit. I know some people can't smell the mildew so they don't think there is an issue but for those of us that are sensitive to it. You probably need to replace the mops, and rags you use to clean the tables. That's probably the issue for that.
