Our group was 7 and there were plenty of seats available at first but man did it fill up quickly! And after having the food, its no wonder. The steak medallions are sublime as are the prosciutto wrapped artichokes, well plated and with a proper drizzle of accompanying sauce, its enough to forget you're in the heart of a bustling city. Being above the beaten path on the third floor makes for one heck of a sunset view, leave the bustle behind and unwind with a refreshingly fresh lemon tart or crisp paloma. I can't wait to go back. Seriously the lemon tart was to die for.
Good times. Sean was most excellent.
Manager refused to honor Groupon, which I purchased 4 months ago, despite 33 reviews of people who used them. Drinks were good, happy hour chips and salsa came with 13 chips, and they originally charged full price for a 2nd order of chips. $48 for 4 drinks and chips and salsa during happy hour where all drinks were $6. I don't understand how a company gets signed up for Groupon without their knowledge or consent, when 16 reviews of people who used them. Seemed like an obvious bait and switch.
Decent food and drinks. Ok service, but a rip off. Nowhere was it posted that a 20% gratuity is automatically added. We were not shown our tab, just told how much and our cards run. We then left 20% of the stated total on the table in cash. Later looked at the text receipt and saw the automatic gratuity! We ended up total tip over 40% for service that absolutely did not warrant it! The service was barely worth 20%
Wonderful little rooftop downtown. We went around 6 and nearly had the place to ourselves just right after sunset. Gorgeous views and a great ambience. I ordered the Dont Push The Button and it was wild.. it comes with this weird little ball that you ear before drinking the drink and it essentially turns your mouth numb while also feeling like you have pop rocks in your mouth.. i would recommend to try it just for the very unique and unusual experience.
Food and cocktails were good, we were there on a night they were extremely short staffed. Made it tough for timely service, but our server Kim was fantastic despite the challenge!! Not at all impressed with management. They never offered any discount despite knowing it took more than 30 min to get our first drink, and that we (and many others) were not happy with the service due to being short staffed. Congrats on getting every penny of my $158 dinner, but due to management lack of customer satisfaction, you've lost a repeat customer.

Loved the staff and drinks!!!
My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice date night after a long week and saw Sotol on the map and decided to give it a try. It was absolutely wonderful. We got the calamari, pablano rings and steak tacos. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. We also were impressed with their drink menu. Our server was a doll (Kim) and super fun. The view at dusk was beautiful! Everything is locally sourced which is big for us. Love this place and will be back with friends!
Wow. We had the RUDEST server last night. We asked a question about the start/end time of happy hour. The server's response was "Um, haven't you been out before? Don't you know that happy hour is the awkward time between lunch and dinner?" I'm not sure if this was her attempt at humor but I didn't find it didn't translate. So we order our drinks. We got well cocktails because it was still happy hour. Our server's response to this was "Nobody orders drinks like that here." Now this was very off-putting to me.When the drinks finally came after a long wait, the server put them in front of us and said "We didn't have any limes but I figured you wouldn't care." We did care. Who gets a gin and tonic or a rum and coke without a lime? This would have been a 1 star review but I have to give credit for the ambiance.
