Deliciosoooo! Authentic Italian food from a family that started in the restaurant business in Italy. I’m so glad that they brought this to America. It’s got such a loyal following it survived the covid hoax! Lol. You won’t be disappointed in whatever you order here. It’s always good and made fresh daily. Love this place! When I was a kid, just about every Friday night the family would head to the original one on 16th st in Berwyn, Il. Since moving to AZ it's nice to drop by every so often and pick up a GREAT pie. Great family pizzeria that keeps the tradition rolling!
Great pizza 1st time I've tried them, next time will go light on the cheese, bit greasy from that. But family liked it.
Just ordered delivery from Salerno’s. Ordered a Chicago style pizza and the Spaghetti Carbonara with toasted ravioli, garlic cheese bread, and tiramisu.Let’s start with the good: the toasted raviolis. They were bomb.Aside from that, the rest of the order was a train wreck.For starters, the pizza is definitely not Chicago style. It was no different from a standard dominoes style crust. I was absolutely expecting deep dish. The crust was completely undercooked and doughyThe spaghetti was absolutely void of any flavor at all. Aside from the cream sauce, they was no other spices or seasoning at all.The cheesy garlic bread had no cheese on it.The tiramisu was completely missing from our order.We had high expectations based off the reviews, but needless to say we were let down.
From start to finish, Angela was so great! Everyone at our wedding complimented how good the food was. Angela stopped by our table several times to ensure that we had enough to eat and were taken care of. I loved that she was so attentive to making sure we ate. Food was great as well as the service.

I expected more... flavor? I'm not sure exactly what but the pizza was lacking. The crust had absolutely no flavor and was extremely hard, the cheese had an off taste to it. The sauce was good. Reminded me of a cheap store bought pizza unfortunately.
I'm not going to say I'm disappointed; just that I've had better. I'll start by saying they loaded the pizza with cheese. Probably the cheesiest pizza I've had. Which, isn't necessarily a good thing. The cheese to sauce to toppings ratio was totally off balance. I decided to go with the original crust (about 3/4") instead of thin, but I probably should've gone with thin. The pizza had very little flavor, other than the salt from the cheese, and some garlic. The cheese was so thick, that it really felt like I was biting through a layer of skin, after letting it cool for a few minutes. I don't feel like I wasted my money, I just wish I got a better flavored pizza for $20. In comparing types of Chicago Style pizzas, I'd compare this to Rosatis, but Rosatis definitely has them beat on every level, as far as the pizza is concerned.
Great pizza tried the large thin crust pepperoni and sausage the toppings were excellent and the crust is great just saw they have the chicago style deep dish will definitely be back to try that
This is a great place to dine in to they great food I've been here with my whole family that's a big group 24 of they have been able to accommodate us with great service we've been going here for years I often order pizza from them I live in Chandler and I will drive I'll be there to pick up for great Chicago-style pizza and great customer service.
