Our first time here. These tacos are excellent and the best I have had since I left Texas for AZ. I have a saying for Rusty Tacos tshirts….but if you use it I get free tacos please lol The t-shirt saying is “every food should come in the form of a taco!” But ALL tacos need to taste as good as Rusty Tacos.! I’m impressed for sure.
As far as ambience it's lacking however however for character it's got a lot. Our daughter and son-in-law tickets there for for an early Father's Day and it was great. We all had tacos and they were some of the best street tacos I've had. The setup is where you enter and look at a large menu to select your meal. Then you go through the line and order. Then you were given a round tray with salsa salsa melted cheese and guacamole with a large cluster of chips in center. You select your seat sit, dip, graze through those chips and wait for your name to be called. That's when your taste buds come alive. Highly recommended.
I ordered 3 tacos but the guy didn’t hear me I guess. Got one fish taco and it wasn’t bad.

Poor quality and high prices. The green street specialty taco is made with roasted pork, tomatillo sauce, jalapeno ranch, cotija cheese, cilantro, and fresh sliced avacado. I also ordered the #2 roasted pork street taco. I can definitely say that this place is consistent. The pork has no flavor at all and is very dry. This is consistent with the brisket. Very disappointed in the cost of these tacos when you see the size of the tortilla and the lack of filling they put into them. The #10 fried chicken taco tasted as if it were a frozen chicken strip with toppings to cover the lack of flavor and quality. Okay now the bit of positive side..the Baja shrimp taco, #8, was decent and tasted on the fresher side of things and the queso was good. The queso was the only thing I liked from this place. Will never return though even for that.
The tacos were not flavored well. The fajitas were not seasoned and the Rusty taco was too sweet. They need to balance the flavor more. If you are looking for anything semi close to authentic Mexican tacos this is not the place. The guac and street corn were pretty good and the only thing that earned the 2 star rating.
Loved this place and especially appreciated the variety that included vegan/vegetarian items. The staff was on point with efficiency, friendliness and patience with all of our newbie questions. The queso was incredible as were the chips. The table next to us had an impressive pile of nachos (2nd in two days…they came back to try another flavor and couldn’t give me a favorite but they loved both). Tacos were excellent and we would come back again if not for them being so far away….We need one of these in Surprise!❤️
Went with a friend that loves this place. Got the shrimp tacos and they were served hot and the shrimp was grilled correctly. Music was a little loud, but we just raised our voices in conversation. Wait staff was very friendly and made suggestions when I asked how spicy the tacos were.
Especially the corn. Loved all of it. Love how they give you your drinks first , you sit and wait to be called to get your order. Very, very good.
This is my new favorite taco place! I got a grilled and crispy shrimp taco to see which one I liked better and they were both AMAZING.. The shrimp was perfect and the sauce was soooooooo good! My husband got their brisket taco and a pork taco and he said they were delicious. We will just be over here dreaming about those tacos until we come back again.. ??
