My mother found this bakery a few years before she passed away. She absolutely fell in love. My son and I have continued to visit Rise Up. There is not one thing there that we haven't fallen in love with. The honey wheat rolls, sugar cookies, oatmeal cookies, the scones, oh my goodness the cinnamon rolls and so much more. The lastest love for my son and I is the chocolate chip cookie. Oh, the chocolate chip cookie is amazing. The bakery is very clean and they are expanding. With no mess!!! The people who work in there are young, but don't let age fool you. The are sweet and helpful. I thought a long time ago that it was too costly, but I was wrong. For the quality everything is worth it. I have checked out other bakeries and none compare!!!
As soon as we walked in we were met with the amazing smell of fresh baked goods. Talk about a hard decision on what to get. We went with cookies and rolls. Really loved the orange roll. I'm a cookie person and was in heaven with their cookie choices and the flavors. Nothing better than biting into a big cookie and it makes you smile.
Great neighborhood bakery! Lots of different bread and it's all wonderful, as are the cookies and other treats. They would be perfect if they sold hamburger and hot dog buns so I hope the owner is listening. Thanks Rise Up for being in our neighborhood.
By far one of the best bakeries in the east valley. The customer service is amazing and the freshness of all the amazing pastries and bread leave you with a wanting to come back for more. Highly recommend popping by for a mid-day snack, sandwich or if you just love fresh baked breads.
Yummy treats, breads, and sandwiches! But also, very friendly staff. They have about 4 different flavors of cinnamon rolls and they are HUGE. I personally love the carrot cake cupcake (chunky carrots inside) and the lemon bar (dense and rich).
I have been vacationing in Mesa for almost a month. I found Rise Up about a week after I got here. Since then I have been going every two or three days to pick up either a cinnamon roll or orange roll. My sister loves their lemon blueberry roll. These are by far the best rolls from a bakery I have ever had. I love love love them.
We've purchased countless cinnamon rolls (including take and bake), plus brownies, cupcakes, chocolate croissants, and lemon bars. They're all amazing. My husband recently bought a loaf of the tomato pesto mozzarella bread. It is delicious and I'm having a hard time not eating the entire loaf right now. Plus, they have fantastic customer service. Highly recommend Rise Up.
The basic cinnamon rolls are very good. They are large, made with plenty of cinnamon, and have a thick layer of sweet frosting. If the frosting is too sweet for your taste, it's very easy to scrape some of it off. Also, there are other cinnamon rolls that they make that have more of a glaze, or a pecan-caramel type of coating. The price is a little on the high side, but I bought 7 rolls and received one free. I would definitely go back again!
Great assortment! The cinnamon rolls and apple raspberry rolls were really good. The apple options need a bit more oomph but everything else I tried was delicious. TONS of icing on the rolls ?
This is an average bakery. If you’re from Utah you’ll probably love it. The cinnamon rolls are just white bread with tons of frosting, the brownies are more cake like than brownie, the pastries are terrible. If you are looking for a good bakery, do yourself a favor and try Great Gadsby instead. They know how to bake.
