I am still speechless about my experience tonight @ Popeyes! I pulled up into the drive thru approx 9:25, by the time I ordered and got to the window and paid it was 9:33pm, according to my receipt. I was told there was a wait of 15-20 minutes for my 14 piece tender meal. When I got to the window, I should have known that this was not gonna turn out well, as the cashier was high, another employee was hanging her cell phone out the drive thru window, for better reception I guess, I could hear loud laughing and everyone playing a part in what seemed like a zoo but this was what my kids requested so I parked and played on my phone while I waited. At 9:58 when they turned the lights out and I hadn’t received my family meal, I pulled to the window and there was another employee that said we’re closed and I asked, well, what happened to my food and presented my receipt. She proceeds to start screaming through the restaurant saying, what happened to her food, someone took it to the wrong car. By now, I am in awe and could not believe I’ve waited almost 30 minutes, as this was dinner for my family, for nothing and told they could give me a refund. I remained silent because I could not believe this was happening. This place was a zoo and everyone played their part to the very end. I should have known to pull off as fast as I could initially, but against my better judgement I let this scene play out. This is my first time to this location, as I am new to the Chandler area, but I have never experienced such madness at my previous local Popeyes in Gilbert, off Pecos Rd and I’ll never be back here. Totally Unbelievable! -10 is my rating! Travel @ your own risk! And if I want Popeyes, I’ll have to travel back to Gilbert.
Have been here before and had great service and the food has always been good. Tonight wasn't great. Paid for a 6pc meal with 2 sides. It's the coupon you can find on the app. This is what I received tonight. Looks more like a 2pc meal for $10...I want a refund

I usually have very good food here. However yesterday the chicken sandwich was cold. Must have been sitting out for a while. If this had been my first visit, I wouldn't go back. Hope it was just a fluke.
1 Star. Thats it. Had an appt close by, I was starving. No one in the drive thru(Super Bonus). Ordered chicken sandwich combo. Fries were cold and the Chicken Sandwich was so dry and old that I just about blew my top. Took sandwich inside and then I encountered the less than stellar customer service. Not only do they not care but they seem to enjoy making people furious. No apologies no nothin. Asked me if I wanted a FRESH chicken sandwich? Fresh???n Hmmn. No I came for a crispy chicken sandwich cooked yesterday moist and hard and dry and tasteless. This is the second time in 3 days I have been asked that very question in two different restaurants. Waited about 8 minustes for a fresh one. Was crispy and hot but the consistency of the chicken did not seem right. Very strandy . Maybe over cooked I dont know. Kind of flovorless. Is this the sandwich people have been raving about? Management negative stars. Never coming back.
I ordered and before I could put my wallet away my chicken sandwich was plopped down beside me. It must have been sitting there as the bread and chicken were soggy and lukewarm. Very disappointed.
My first time eating Popeye's, & definitely not a fan. Food was very bland, & very little selection. Edible, but i certainly wouldn't go out of my way to get it. Pretty sure I could always find something better.
Got the 5 piece tenders combo. Fries and chicken were not hot. Tenders were dry, and clearly not very fresh.
They gave us the wrong order and we were missing items. They overcharged for something we didn’t get. We had to go back as it was a big difference. We asked them to read back the order in the drive thru and they wouldn’t. They said it was correct. Make sure to check your order before you leave.
Literally forgot half my order and the sauce they recommended was horrid. The time before that they forgot a side of fries. Another nearby location staff was rude. Wouldn't bother with any Popeyes in general, it seems every location hires incompetent people who don't care.
