Get rid of your delivery fee and your drivers will get tips. Also don’t try and have a conversation at the door when you’re delivering, people order delivery because they’re short on time so don’t eat it up with small talk. Not to mention it’s highly unprofessional.
There is a reason this store has a low review rating. Horrible customer service. I have a fundraiser card I purchased that includes a buy one get one free pizza from Papa Johns. When I tried to purchase online, the code didn’t work. I called to explain and they just said “sorry. Nothing we can do. Talk to the person you bought the card from.” I called the Baseline location and they listened to me and honored the discount. Baseline location for the win. I usually go there anyway, I just thought I would try Val Vista bc it is slightly closer. I won’t make that mistake again.
Check your pizzas prior to leaving! Depending on who makes it, the pizzas are inconsistent on toppings. Our papadilla had little toppings. 2 out of the 4 times we ordered within the last month and half, there was more outer crust than normal and little toppings on them.
Had to wait the full time for my pizza to be made in the store, after arriving at the latest time the email confirmation said. Paid and was told it would be another minute. 5 minutes later I am told that it would be another 5 minutes which turned into over 10 minutes. Asked if I could have a bottle of water while waiting, and they refused.
Service was prompt and delivered fast. However this is the second time in a row that they didn’t get the toppings right. Normally I don’t care but since it happened twice in a row I feel like it’s an ongoing issue.
I ordered through door dash and there was no where to put special requests so I called and the lady on the phone said they I have to go through door dash and was extremely rude so I messaged me driver seeing if he could make the request and he said they were rude to him to? The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the door dash driver. ✨️
I used to love Papa John's but lately haven't been as pleased. The last two times I've ordered ahead pickup and I get notification that they're complete 30 min early. I set a time for a reason because that's when I plan to pick up so then I get not fresh pizza. Plus, last night I had two sets of bread sticks and both were burnt. They were done 30 min before I came to pick up and no one thought to remake them?! I usually don't check before I drive home but if I order here again I guess I will have to be my own quality control.
I used to love their pizza it was really affordable and really good. But I just ordered 2 LARGE pizzas and it was $39.06. I get it if they were specialty pizzas but it wasn't they was literally just large pizzas. Since when was a large pizza 16.99? It makes no sense they deserve to go out of business for that. Biggest rip off ever.
Wow, $40 for two large ordinary pizzas with practically no sauce. Usually like this place but sorry, we're done. Absolutely ridiculous. Stop blaming inflation, can't possibly be $20 a piece for dough, almost no sauce, maybe 15 slices of pepperoni and cheese...
Don't recommend this place to anyone, horrible customer service. I bought a lot of pizza from this location and never had any issues untill now. Not sure if new owners took over but could barely understand them & I got hung up on 4 times, defanitely won't be do any business at this location ever again.
