We chose to go here as online it said their close time is 2200. We arrived at 2030 and ordered. The cashier wasn’t rude per se but was not welcoming or friendly. We said it was our first time and he offered no suggestions or positive input. When our food came out he said they are closing soon and he didn’t want us to dine in, I said I guess I’ll eat fast. Getting our food I found he gave me the wrong order but due to the short time table I ate it anyways. (I ordered pork and Katsu and got pork and bbq chicken instead). At 2050 he put away the sauce cups preventing us from getting more. We felt very unwelcome and rushed. The food was okay but definitely felt like they were avoiding cooking anything fresh. On our way out we saw posted on the door the lobby closes at 2130 and only the drive thru is open until 2200 (not indicated that way on Apple Maps). We left at 2055 and the cashier immediately locked the door behind us just before 2100. Absolutely disgraceful to not honor posted hours, rush paying customers to eat, and make guests feel unwelcome. We will be taking our money where we feel appreciated in the future.
I just came from this restaurant and the food is AMAZING. I hope the employees that work there see this review. While I was ordering my food, an unnecessarily rude and irate customer went off on the cook because she was displeased with her food. The employees handled the situation with the utmost tact and grace. To the woman if she ever sees this review: The insults you hurled at the young cook were baseless. It takes a truly miserable person to be so unkind. You talked about being better off financially than him but you’re a prime example of how money can’t buy class. Keep up the great work Ono employees. I can’t wait to come back again! 05/08/2022
Good food, got the family meal which includes 3 entrees, rice, macaroni salad and veggies, the veggies are actually under the meat and is lettuce and broccoli. Portions are good internet was down, so couldn't order online. But ordering inside and waiting wasn't that long. Will be back
Good food and their Teriyaki Chicken is the best. The shrimp are good too. Was not so much into the pork or fish. Great portions. Too bad they don't sell just the Teriyaki chicken by itself without making it a combo with. Salad and rice.
Good selection of Hawaiian style plate lunches. Had the chicken katsu this time, was excellent. Very large portions as well, sure to fill up even the most hungry.
We used to love this place, food that they served were different from others and prices were not too bad. This is first time we tried it again in a long long time but food seemed bit different plus macaroni salad was not in the menu, what a shame.
The food was really good! One serving ended up feeding two people in our group because it was so filling! I loved the different meats and the sauce was an excellent compliment to the meats and rice! But more than anything, I loved the macaroni salad! I wish there were a bigger serving, but happy with the food overall!
Delicious as usual. Not sure why the teriyaki sauce changed. But, can not eat it spicy. This is one of few places my stomach will allow me to go out and eat. So hope it doesn't stay that way.
Good food quick service clean restaurant friendly staff. We have been to this restaurant a few times. They've got something on their menu that everyone in my family likes.
Big fan of Ono’s Hawaiian BBQ. Mac salad is great and chicken is always cooked just right. Plenty of food.
