Born and raised in east harlem in Manhattan and ever since I moved to arizona I haven’t been able to find a comparable slice to back home this has to be the only place that’s provided an authentic New York slice since I moved would recommend to anybody who need a good slice of pizza
Very Sad and disappointed for we wasted a trip for a pizza that was order only to find out it was never made. Was trying to do something nice and have a little pick me up for someone special.

NYPD is an excellent small chain. Top notch pizza sauce flavor, excellent crust and lots of cheesy goodness. Their sausage topping is one of the best available anywhere. Their cheese knots are also very good. The pricing is higher than many NY styled pizzeria joints, but the consistency of flavor and excellent results each time keep me coming back.I've never come to NYPD and been disappointed in the taste or temperature of a pizza. I have not ventured out to try other items on their menu, so you are on your own if you veer away from the pizza pies. My favorite selection is the Brooklyn Family, which features pepperoni, sausage, and basil on a healthy bed of cheese. "Healthy" in that context is a euphemism for "a lot". :)Anyways, this location is usually without a wait and while the preparation of the pizza can take 25 minutes, having a garlic cheese knot order to wait is an excellent choice
Dawson at this location needs a raise!My boyfriend and I went in last night. We ordered a pizza and wings and decided to have a beer while we waited. We were there for quite a long time and our order still wasn't out, so we had another beer. That's when Dawson asked if we were waiting on food; he knew we had been there for a while and our order should have been out. He was not our server initially, but he took it upon himself to check on our order without us even asking, found out it was forgotten (therefore wasn't being made) and then gave us vouchers/coupons and an extra order of wings (a fresh batch on top of the old, since the wings we ordered were made but had been sitting for 30 min). Talk about a vigilant employee who understands the importance of customer service. We were very impressed by him, especially given his apparent young age. That kid's gonna go places.
First off, I want to say that I am so thankful NYPD Pizza has non-dairy cheese! Having a vegan in the family can make it more difficult to enjoy a pizza joint together. Since they have this option, it makes us enjoy it more! The pizza is excellent, the appetizers are delicious and the salads are fresh! (Other things may also be fantastic, but I haven’t tried them.) I am able to personalized my pizza and salads to my liking and that shows me they care about what I want to eat. Keep up the great work!
Box looked like they cooked the pizza in it based on the amount of cheese on it. Very meh with so many pizza chains and parlors in the valley they're obviously doing something right to be around this long.
Quite possibly one of the best calzones I have enjoyed. Don't often go that route as Pizza is my thing, but a good friend suggested it. Al Capone Calzone. Fantastic! Will definitely be returning!!
Good tasting pizza with fresh ingredients
Pizza is wicked good. Love this spot and it’s usually pretty quick to go. Only recommendation is maybe turn the lights down a little and this would be a gangster spot.
