When you want/NEED an authentic New Mexico food experience, this place hits the spot.Servers are always stellar, alcohol selection is fantastic and ambiance is warm with wood accents that reminds us of New Mexico.The blue corn stacked enchiladas are favorite, the guacamole is fairly typical, but the three salsas they provide and and their special XXX Hatch salsa are INCREDIBLE (your taste buds will dance and you may cry). If you don't like spicy, then only one salsa dish will work but there really is something for everyone at La Ristra New Mexican Kitchen.
Oh my God my friend took me here on our way back from somewhere in San Tan and what a delicious lunch experience! I had a cheese enchilada and something else out card that I can't actually remember but they were both delicious. The chips and salsa out of this world they give you three different kinds of salsa. Excellent service cleaned friendly just loved everything about it
Good service and pretty good chips and salsa. We came for the house margarita and we’re pretty disappointed. Like most of their cocktails it is pre made, sits on a shelf (not refrigerated), and is basically a mix (not fresh) and it is expensive for the happy hour. Would not come again (came based on the reviews). Instead go to Joyride (cheaper happy hour price and better quality- around 6$ for happy hour) or if you are looking for a cocktails Hulas (7$ happy hr, great drinks).
This restaurant smelled amazing as soon as we walked in. The food and service were fantastic and we enjoyed the live music. My only regret is that I hadn't tried this restaurant sooner. I could have been enjoying this place for years.
I want to start with, we love the flavor of the food here; BUT every time we go, there are issues. We have been there 4-5 times in the last year (we are winter Arizonans). All 4 times it took over 30 minutes to get our food. Today it was 45 minutes even though we arrived at 11:30 a.m. when the restaurant was not busy at all. We watched another table get their food long before us. Our food has been warm, not hot, 3 of the 4 visits. We have had trouble getting refills on our drinks, the check, to-go boxes, etc. We really would like to know what is going on with La Ristra. If we didn’t like the food so much (even lukewarm), we would just go elsewhere but we do like the blue corn stacked enchiladas A LOT! Today we even told the girl who brought our food that we didn’t understand why it had taken 45 minutes hoping she’d tell the manager, but no one ever came to our table to talk to us. We will return…just hoping the issues will be addressed before we do.
The green chili on my Christmas enchiladas was the best I have ever had and I have had a lot over the last 40 yrs of visiting new mexico. Love the atmosphere. The staff was friendly...Oh TRY the mashed potatoes with green chilies!!! So good!!

Was looking to go to a new restaurant with my family I looked on google map's and came across this restaurant and wanted to try it. We are so glad we did, it was delicious and so much flavor omg so worth it.
Good food. Had the 3 generation tacos(chicken, beef & pork)Chicken one was unique. I REALLY liked it!Ordered grilled jalapeno peppers ....were HOT! ?They offer art work for sale...some very nice pieces.Forgot to take photos like I usually do. Will be sure to visit again.
