Amazing, reasonably priced bbq. Aside from the cornbread that came with my meal there were a lot of gluten free options to choose from. It’s cafeteria style, so we got our food fairly quickly.

First time there...HUGE PORTIONS!I originally went for just the Baker but got a salad too...delicious and more than enough for one! Mild BBQ was great.
Ordered BBQ for a family event and picked it up. Once home I discovered I had the wrong order (other person had the same name). I called the restaurant and asked if they could meet me half way due to it was an hour round trip. They said no and that they would bring it to me because it was their error. Besides offering quality customer service they offer the best BBQ that I've had since moving to Arizona. I grew up in Kansas City and believe it to be the best BBQ so I was very happy to discover the Joe's Real BBQ is every bit as good.
We met friends at Joe's for lunch and we were all happy with our meals. This place is huge with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The crowd begins to build about 11:45AM for lunch, but they can handle it as this place is cafeteria style. The ribs, turkey breast, and brisket were all good. They promote their homemade root beer float. It was large and reasonably priced at four bucks. It is a no-frills experience as your food comes on metal trays and drinks are self-serve. We will go back as the St. Louis style ribs were lean and meaty.
Everything is good and fun place for a family to sit inside or outside so the kids can run around and play. Line can be long but goes rather quickly.
Birthday is free up to $12.00 dollars great authetnic taste. You must try the spicy barbecue sauce with any of their meats as well as the golden brown. A great restaurant and great customer service. I really enjoy the staf. The staff has always the knowledge available to be able to answer my questions when I'm there. They pay attention to detail. I will definitely return here.
4 Meat Sampler is a great choice if you are not sure what to choose. Everything included is amazing! Best cornbread I have had. Highly recommend!
Haven't been to Joe's BBQ in years and was excited to go. Their BBQ sauce is the best! Great customer service as well. Sadly when we went there for lunch. The food wasn't even warm. The brisket was salty. Both the cornbread and Mac & cheese were dry. Wasn't a great overall experience as I remembered. We won't be making plans to try them again any time soon.
The food is sooooo good. The ribs, the chicken, the cornbread and the sauce!! Mmmmmmm! If you get a fountain drink make sure you try some of their Root Beer at the soda station. It is like cafeteria style, so all of your food will be given to you on a tray.
We enjoyed our time and meal here today. A fun, historic place. Did not expect to have to order buffet style, but printed menus were helpful. I liked the loaded potato. Portions were plentiful.
