Decent service, terrible food also usually comes out not as ordered.. Last time was a chicken fajita omlette that was mostly cheese and barely any chicken or peppers... not to mention the prices, especially for such low quality are pretty much outrageous..

Oh my goodness. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years because this ihop was the best. But after today, I will NEVER be coming back. The service and food quality has immensely gone down. We waited 10 minutes before someone came to our table to get our drink & food order. The food arrived before our drinks. We waited around for coffee refills. The waffle I ordered was broken and falling apart. My iced coffee was only 2/3’s full. The bacon was undercooked, even though I asked for extra crispy. My eggs were cooked over easy after I asked for over medium. The attention to detail was horrible as if they don’t care.

I can not say enough good at the food I had here. For the first time in a long time, a restaurant knew how to cook an over medium egg. Usually the whites are snotty looking or you to that spot between the two eggs and find slime. No here. Egg were beautiful and perfect. Toast was a nice thicker bread. Bacon just the right of crunch and pancakes so fluffy and delicious. Hash browns that you didn't have to break teeth on to try and chew. It was probably the first time in a long time I cleaned my plate. Bravo. Well done.

Our handsome server, Mateo, was the only one working. There were maybe 6 or 7 other tables besides us. He did an excellent job. Also, he was wonderful interacting with my 7 year old.

Went around 11 AM. There was a group of rowdy teenagers that after waiting 15 minutes, were told their group was too big to be seated. They left screaming “Fuck ihop” We were told it was going to be a fifteen minute wait for a party of 4 and after waiting patiently for 35 minutes we left. Another couple of families that were already seated also left after waiting an hour to get food. I understand being short staffed, but if you’re that critically short, shouldn’t the place be closed or at least a disclaimer given when putting your name down for a table? Also the lobby smelled liked feces because the bathrooms were right there and nothing had been cleaned. Very disappointed as my family usually loves IHOP, but we won’t be going back to that location.

Jasmi m e was the only waitress doing her best to service ALL the customers' needs-- we counted she had over nine tables. However, the cook was not as successful. Food was disappointing. Mac n cheese was watery and potatoes had the same watery texture. If not for the bits of potato peel, you'd think they were instant. The chicken was dry, old, yet raw in parts. The Cali had sparse ingredients on only half of each side of toasted bread. Reality was definitely NOT as pictured on menu.We would have complained to management, but there was no one around. Jasmine was also the cashier and we didn't have the heat to express our grievances as she was hustling on overtime to meet the service needs of her many customers.

Mariah walked by and saw me looking around and totally stopped to ask if I needed anything, such a sweet hard worker! I really appreciate you. Yes I was looking for my waitress for something and she helped. And didn't need too!! She's amazing!!

Sign says 24 hours. Walk in at 1:25 pm and noticed a handwritten Sign saying "closing at 2 due to staff shortages". Apparently 1:25 was close enough to 2pm for them to not seat us and the party directly behind us.Must be nice, my 24 hour establishments just figure it out, we don't close and I guarantee we're worse staffed than this IHOP with four girls standing around 1 broom. Not to mention in every restaurant I've worked closing time is the time until you seat, you don't stop seating in anticipation of your posted closing time (let alone at a 24 hour establishment) as much as It may frustrate staff to have a party of 12 walk in 1 minute before closing.

Ok, I know times are tough and many places to eat don't have enough employees. But there are basic practices to follow. We went to breakfast and were seated, the waitress asked us what to drink and disappeared. We asked an employee if we had a waitress and she reappeared. Ok, coffee and water, check. Order, 2 split decisions, order of toast, blueberries inside the pancakes. Do you know that you get 2 pieces of white toast, or 1 piece of sour dough? C'mon IHOP, it's bread! Order comes, no toast, no blueberry pancakes, and the pancakes were small? I ordered toast to eat with my eggs, I had to ask for it again and my eggs got cold waiting. How long does it take to toast bread? So IHOP what's up with that! Get with it!

We were craving pancakes so stopped in. We eat at IHOP back home and never have any issues. This trip in Gilbert was different. I ordered my eggs over medium and they came with the whites very runny, where I couldn’t eat them and I’m not too picky of an eater ( but expect quality when paying ). Our pancakes were cold and not very good compared to cakes we have had at other IHOPs. Overall the breakfast wasn’t even average. Much better restaurants to downs my money on for breakfast in the area.
