Sat at the bar and had first hand entertainment as the food went by. I got to see all the kitchen activity and the waiters/waitresses picking up their orders. Those people work hard! Food was great and I always say they have the best coffee.
The breakfast here is so delicious and flavorful. I got the chicken fried steak and subbed to have the biscuits and gravy. My boyfriend got the Paul Bunyan, and my son got the cinnamon glazed French toast with bacon. Everything was well cooked and service was quick!
My first time there with my partner. She got Eggs Benedict and I had Bananas Foster French Toast. Both were insanely good. The fried potato slices (not chips) that came with the eggs... I can't even .. I have no idea how they got simple fried potato slices to taste so good, but they did. The French toast was amazing too. The bananas were candied fried perfection. The waitress was great as well but I could tell management had given her too many tables (the whole patio and maybe tables inside). We wanted to get more than water but she was zooming all over the place and we decided not to flag her down. That said we never had to wait too long on her for anything (ordering, cook time on food itself, the check, and togo boxes were all timely). She was very pleasant throughout. If there were drinks listed in the menus we both missed them, so I guess it cones down to asking; but when management gives a server too many tables, that comes down to a hot mess quickly regardless of how good your server is.Overall a great experience and a great server!
This place was recommended by some of our family members who live in Gilbert. The food and service was great! Such a fun, plentiful menu with tons of options. Certainly not your typical mom and pop’s cooking! Better!
I LOVED IT! FANTASTIC FOOD ♡ FUN ATMOSPHERE, GREAT SERVICE, A WELCOME HOME COOKED FEEL TO THE RESTAURANT. GOOD $
Too crowded, long wait, lukewarm food. Even in the height of the pandemic the tables were too close together. My friend kept bumping elbows with the people at the table next to us.
Great family owned cafe. Had a little trouble being seated due to an issue with the host. Explained the situation to our server, Jessica, who not only took a few minutes to listen, but she addressed the issue as if she was a manager and brought the issue to the owners attention, who also spoke with us, assured he would address the issue and took care of us (not what we were looking for). Awesome food. Outstanding service, thanks Jessica. The chicken fried chicken was great, as was the skillet (can’t remember the name of the menu item). Definitely going to be back to support a great local family business. Oh, they also support military and first responders!!
This is one of my favorite breakfast places. Every dish I have had here has been fantastic. Great sizes, good prices and if you want to experience the LARGEST pancake of your life, you have to come here. The pancake is so big, you'll need at least 4 people to eat it unless you want a crazy amount of leftovers. If you've been thinking about coming here, stop. Go and eat a delicious breakfast!
Service and food was outstanding. So good, in fact, even with all the other possibilities, we went here 3 times during our visit. Be aware that the pancake, one of their specialties, is HUGE! The eggs benedict are some of the best I've had. Highly recommmend. It's busy though, so come early.
Simply the best home style breakfast and lunch you could ever have. Except Mom's... And Grandma's. 100%. Servers are the best, esp Lexi. Try one of everything.
