Love this place, but it's always a gamble getting food to go. Ordered a side of potatoes and received these "grand slam" gems. They were more than 50% burnt, saturated in oil, and a "day old" (dispute ordering within the first two hours of opening)! Over-cooked/oiled are common, as are pieces of bacon or other contaminants in non meat dishes.
This is awesome I finally found the best breakfast place in AZ ?Had the eggs benny...the best I have had since moving here.Great location with fantastic staff....real friendly.Will be back to try many more of the plates....plenty to pick from.
This cafe restaurant was absolutely amazing I totally would come here again. Tina my waitress was very helpful and very nice. I recommend the purple haze drink it was so good but other then that I recommend going
My wife and I loved this brunch spot. Despite it being a busy spot, we were able to get seated fairly quickly. My wife ordered the skillet hash and I had the egg sandwich and they both were absolutely amazing. I had an iced coffee and initially thought to get the shot of wellness, but Chris, our waiter, insisted that most usually just get the shot with the juices. So we ended up getting the wellness shots on the side which were quite strong, but we could see how it can benefit the fruit juices. If we are in Phoenix again we would be returning.
When we arrived, this location was having some struggles with new staff in the kitchen and apparently a lot of previous guests took their frustrations out on the workers. When we showed kindness to our hostess, instead of frustration, she thanked us for not yelling. That breaks my heart. Do better, Gilbert. If you want fully staffed restaurants give these folks the respect they deserve. Even when it's a busy day and you don't get exactly what you want right away.The staff here were super sweet, very hard working, and I was impressed with how poised they were under pressure.While our wait was just a little longer than I'd have liked, it wasn't bad. Our food was delicious and First Watch coffee is some of my favorite. I don't know where it comes from, but it's always so smooth. Everything from the cook of the food to the flavors were on point and we had a great time. Plus the menu has a great selection so there really is something for everyone.We'll be back for sure!
As a customer, I live this place. Although portions have shrunk, food is consistently quality and generally good service. As someone who has interviewed here, they do not pay attention to your application and will waste time bringing you in for an interview. I don’t work Sundays, which was clearly stated on my application but was a dealbreaker for them.
This is the PERFECT breakfast/brunch spot! They definitely focus on fresh, real food ingredients with a healthy flair. The Morning Meditation juice was light, refreshing, and delicious! Coffee was perfect. French toast was amazing, made with fresh brioche bread. Loved the cute bottles of 100% maple syrup. Our waitress, Sam, was perfection. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, and gave great suggestions. When I visit Gilbert again in the future, this will be the first restaurant I go to! I want to try everything on the menu!
No complaints. Impressed with our waitress, Alexis. Ordered the Traditional with French Toast added as a side. Chicken sausage patties and seasoned potatoes were excellent. My favorite was the French Toast.
I love first watch, the food is always good and the signature drinks are a must! I love the morning meditation but the Kale tonic was surprisingly good, our waiter actually let us taste all of them before we ordered. We will be back!
Ordered food here several times and it was fine. Today I had an orange juice that was half full, and the AM superfood bowl looked half eaten. I ended up not eating any of it and cost $45 for everything. Will never buy from here again, and I hope the employees get the same level of quality service wherever they go too.
