Fell short of the hype. Salmon dinner, pasta was closer to crunchy vs. al dente, the salmon was delicious but on the smaller side, lasagna was ok, and the meatballs were forgotten and then delivered separately. Average to bland flavour of the lasagna and the meatballs.I did not do dessert as my normal program.... because i everything fell short of the expectation and felt dessert would of been similar. The best part of the night is that... we trued something different and explored a new restaurant. Unfortunately, this will not be one that will be added to my repertoire.Good luck on your quest to a successful establishment.
Mothers Day. How sad to have the worst food that I have ever eaten in Arizona. Especially on Mother's day. Home now in bed feeling like my inside were sliced in piece. Will never go there again. The server was also a downer. It was rated below a zero star.Just don't know until try new places. Never will be back.
The best Italian food in Gilbert. The service is awesome! I highly recommend the lobster raviolis. If you can sit at the bar with Janice, she is a great bartender!!!
Due to unforseen circumstances, I was about 30min late. Even with arriving at about 8:30(they close at 9) they were still amazing. Kitchen put out great food, staff was friendly and Janice the bartender was superb! The drinks were excellent and the food was delicious. I love a good chicken piccata entree and I will certainly be back to have more here. Thank you, see you all again soon!!!!
Terrific waiter Nathaniel off to Poland next week 3/15/22 to help where he can with refugees. Go give the young man a large tip. Pizza was best in East Valley.
We have had many dishes there we absolutely loved. You just need to know what to order! The meatball appetizer over polenta smothered in marinara and cheese is to die for. Their wings are shockingly good- surprising for an Italian restaurant. Our kids love the chicken Alfredo- just add Parmesan and red pepper flakes and it’s amazing. There’s some kind of spicy seafood pasta dish with red sauce that was really good. Their baked ziti is SO SO GOOD. Go give it a try and if you don’t love it, you ordered the wrong thing!
Been trying to find a great pizza in Gilbert since I moved here… Eatalio is NOT it. Very inconsistent and after showing you my pre COVID photo and the photo of the meat “lovers” pizza from today which was made by the owner you will see why. Keep looking for better pizza.First photo was from today, second was pre COVID, price was the same.
I REALLY wanted to like this place as I always try to support local businesses. I am Italian and granted I have a lot of experience with great Italian food, so take that for what you will. Italian food is peasant food and is big and flavorful and lively. This was none of those and greatly overpriced. 8.00 for one cannoli...I can make 20 cannolis and buy the shells for less than that and these had no chocolate chips or any other redeeming qualities. Dinner was a major disappointment. Chicken Piccata was not lightly breaded chicken as is normal, and was insteada dried up grilled chicken breast. Sauce was gloppy lemon flavored with overcooked penne with a handful of capers. My daughter's 15.00 ravioli whichcontained 5 raviolis, with Alfredo sauce were more pasta than filling. My husband had a salad and the dressing was awesome as was the salad but it had the same dried up grilled chicken as the picatta. Finally the Arriabiata sauce was thick like chili but without the meat. This is meant to be a light spicy buttery tomato sauce. This was an expensive meal for what we got and it just was not that good. Edible but not good. Overall completely unimpressive and I can get better and cheaper Italian food pretty much anywhere else.
Great pizza and atmosphere. Service was excellent!
Extremely overpriced average Italian food. For our family of 3, it cost $75. Garlic bread, 2 entrees, and a kid’s meal. When I called because our bill was $20 more than advertised on their website, I was told that they are aware that their pricing is incorrect and that they’re working on it. Really?!?! First and last time eating here. Vito’s is way better.
