First off, I would like to thank the manager Chris for being so wonderful. I had a bad experience last night with the 2 young workers closing early and not giving me the food I ordered online. So, this morning I spoke with Chris and he apologized profusely for my experience and remade my food for me and let me tell you, this was seriously the best BBQ I have ever had! It was amazing! I am going to start coming here every Friday night now. I was never going to come here again because of the experience I had last night, but because of him making the situation right, I will be coming back.
This was our first time ordering from Dickey’s and I wish the experience was a little better. When I was placing my order with the first man he was very rude, short, not welcoming and overall just looked like he didn’t want to be there. For example, a couple that ordered behind us asked if there was a family platter, and the man didn’t say a word and just pointed up at the menu. Another gentleman finished my order, (not sure of his name but he had braces), and was nicer and helped recommend a couple of sides for my family. I ordered the brisket sandwiches for my husband and I and it was pretty dry, jalapeño beans didn’t have a flavor, and we had to finish baking the Dino nuggets for the kids at home because they weren’t all the way cooked. Not sure if it was just an off day or if they were understaffed, but we were pretty disappointed.
Their email ad is deceiving. They don't honor the email coupon. The staff was not willing to accomodate. My daughter ordered pulled pork for pick up and she is complaing it's dry. This is my last time to visit this place.
First time at this place. I’m always looking for some good bbq spots. Ended up going to the location on greenfield and williamsfield. Got there at 11:05 am to see the door was still locked. So I waited in my car and until someone came to open the door. Their was a kid working up front who didn’t know how to cut meat so we had to wait for the manager Michael to take a dump so I can finally try some brisket. Michael finally came out and had a bad attitude. Didn’t smile or anything just looked at me like I was interfering with his day. Told him it was my first time there and he didn’t even respond back because he had headphones in his ears. I got the brisket sandwich with the two sides. I finally got home just to find out the brisket was dry as heck. Definitely a let down considering all the waiting I just went through. Not worth the 16 dollars one bit
Great BBQ. But more importantly....great management. Over a month ago, I had an issue for Christmas catering and the store ran out of Brisket. They helped me then with other items but promised me the next time I came in that they would honor my original order. I walked in today and the manager Chris immediately said...I owe you a pound of Brisket. The fact that not only he remembered me but my order speaks volumes. I will return just because of management
I had a horrible experience with this Dickey's BBQ. I ordered by phone and I gave the guy my debit card number over the phone. I arrived at the time that I was supposed to pick the food up and it was not even started. He said that I didn't pay. He and a kid were the only two working and he started my $149.00 order but stopped to wait on customers as they came into the store .I waited about 45 minutes and he finally finished my order. I noticed that my baked beans was just "juice" and no beans, so I had to wait another 10 minutes for him to get a fresh pan of baked beans out of the fridge (cold) and when I got home and my company started to arrive, I found out that he didn't give me any BBQ sauce. I will never give my business to Dickey's again and neither will my guests..
Served beef roast instead of real brisket. Was over done, dry and no flavor. Pulled pork over done and dried out. BBQ beans tasted like baked beans from a can. I have had Dickey's many times before and have always liked it but this was the worst BBQ I have ever had!
Their sandwiches are very good. I like bbq meat that has no fat and their meat was tender and juicy. I also liked their traditionaland sweet bbq sauce (I didn't try the spicy). I would definitely come back if I was in the mood for some quick BBQ! I also liked their waffle fries over Chick-fil-As, Dickey's had more flavor.I'd also say, the staff was very nice and I commend them. I had left behind my wallet and was so worried, since I wasn't 100% sure if that was where I left it--but mostly certain. Once I realized it was missing, it was late and they were closed, so I went back as soon as they opened the following day and they confirmed that they had it stored away for me and all my valuables were there.I hope the owner and manager read this review and that you please thank your employee that found my wallet and stored it for me. I appreciate his honesty and you have great employees.
Me and my family were visiting Gilbert, Arizona. We went to the Gilbert location. Customer service was lacking from the beginning. Me and my son ordered the burnt ends sandwich. The bun was stale and the brisket burnt ends were so dry I could barely swallow it. The potatoe salad tasted store bought. I only eat a few bites. The baked beans tasted straight out of a can, no flavor at all. Didn't eat them. They advertised a big yellow cup with drink, but were out of all but three sodas, no cola. We went next door to get our coke. We won't be back. Please let the owner know.
