So, I normally absolutely hate Dairy Queen‘s customer service. Regardless of the location, their corporate rules are asinine. They literally need a wake up call when it comes to Customer Service, However! Today I went to the location on Higley and the 60 freeway… they were fabulous! First off, Greyson what’s so patient with me taking my order because I couldn’t make up my mind and instead of being rude or irritated he was patient and polite. The manager Leslie was willing to bend a few of the really stupid rules! Like giving me an extra ranch because they forgot it last time. Instead of saying “No we can’t do that“ like I’m used to hearing from them ?, she just did it and took care of the customer. Like all corporations should do this day and age! They also let me mix-and-match my dilly bar order so when I take it back to the boys at work they won’t whine about only having one flavor to choose from ??This was by far the best service I’ve had at any Dairy Queen in the last five years. Give this location a try, it’s actually run effectively.
HORRIBLE drive thru service. We sat in line for 20 min to then sit at the intercom for another fifteen minutes. After multiple attempts at calling for someone, we decided to drive to the window to see if we could get someone to help us and sat there for 4 min while people just kept walking by ignoring us. We finally decided to leave, wasting almost 40 min and leaving with nothing!
Anytime is the right time for a freaking sundae! Just saying ! This old lady I bumped into while walking my dog told me that I should try a sundae w/chocolate, marshmallow and caramel w/ peanuts and she wasn't joking! Everyone needs to try that! Im passing that on in her honor ?
The person behind the counter walked away when I said give me a second to decide and didn't come back for 10 minutes. Forgot my drink and my ice cream. Food was cold. Lobby was a mess and on top of it they made the wrong blizzard when I finally got it. Decided it wasn't worth the trouble of going back.
Amazing service, the food was exactly what I imagined and remember. Clean dining area, overall, next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely return to this DQ.
Dairy Queen blizzards will always be my go to, and I like that they are always trying out new flavors and versions. I don't know what it is about this location but it always seems very very slow. The last time I was there and got a blizzard only about the top half was actually mixed and the bottom half was only ice cream. I'm only knocking off 1 star because it was actually fine eating the ice cream by itself, but some better quality would be nice.
Fast service and consistent quality. Normal Dairy Queen goods.The lobby is currently closed after 3pm so expect a wait for your evening treat run.
This will never not be my favorite dessert place. Idk how DW does it, but this ice cream and the blends are literally the best! The constant rotation of flavors keeps it exciting and new every time you go! Perfect for a date night or a family stop. Get a simple dilly bar, or grab a full cake for a party. So convenient!
Emilee is a great drive thru host. Extremely pleasant. I wish she was at all the drive thru places.She deserves a raise ?
