Very dirty unclean, but friendly staff, however as I was waiting to order my food I saw the girl making tortillas wipe her nose with her gloved hand that she was using to prep food with then go back and touch the uncooked tortillas, very disgusting, I wouldn't recommend eating here. The soda machine is all sticky and gross, the tea was all clumpy and had floating like mold in it, and the horchata machine was turned off and the trays the place your food on were blue at one point in time had now been black with dirt as if they have never been cleaned off. The grill and stove where they prepared the food was disgusting and dirty like they never clean it between customers.
The tacos taste good but I was afraid to eat the rice and beans. The place was absolutely filthy. I won't be going back.
Not happy with what seems to be recipe/menu changes. Mango salsa gone and rarely have any grilled veggies. Grilled veggies are mostly onions. Pico is mostly onions. Everything tastes like onions! Mango dressing is also now gone. Many of the reasons I went here in the first place have either gone or have become onions. Food still generally good and service is reasonable. Bathroom was a mess and toilet didn't flush. That's always a plus when you go to a restaurant! Full disclosure, I've been vegan for about 3 years and this used to be a good place for me to eat. I'm guessing that my rating would be higher if I was a meat eater. However, since I don't eat meat, the changes in recipes (i.e., higher doses of onions) likely impact me more.
The food here is great when they aren’t out of what you are ordering. The last 3 times that we have been here you have been out of food. This time you were out of rice. When you are out of food that goes on your dish you should discount the meal. If I was to order my burrito with EXTRA rice you would charge me $1 so with that said you should discount the burrito by $1. The owners of this establishment should have some adults working too because we waited over an hour for our food and all of the teenagers that were working didn’t have a clue what was going on. We won’t go back to this location.
We went through the drive thru tonight on our way home. We ordered 2 sweet pork salads. We got home and started eating, I literally had 3 pieces of shredded pork that I had to dig for. I'm very disappointed. I've had this happen in the past with sweet pork. We've realized that Costa Vida gets very chinsey with their sweet pork but haven't had this happen in a long time. We went to this location a few nights ago and had some issues with our enchiladas getting made right but we just took what we got the second round due to being exhausted and hungry. We understand being busy and probably short handed but we spend a lot of money there and would like our orders to be right and actually have meat on our entrees that should have meat on them.
Though the menu changed a bit I still enjoy the food. Fresh and not deep fried home made tortillas.
We absolutely love coming to this location. The staff is amazing! Love seeing such hard working teens always smiling. Plus the food is yummy! Keep up the hard work :)
I always enjoy my experience at Costa Vida. The food is always fresh. The service is outstanding. The restaurant is always clean. Love this place no matter which branch i go to.
It was clean and friendly. But the price to portion was small. Compared to like type places it was a not as fulfilling. However, the food was good.
Every time I go here they treat me like crazy. I notice they do take care of all the white people but as a black man I was invisible and made to wait even though my order was ready. When I went through the drive through I sat at the Window for 15 minutes no one came to help and there was a line of cars behind me so I just left.Tldr bad for black people apparently.
