the order of wings to take home was the worst ever.... we have been going here for wings for many many years. But unfortunately they were not as expected. Previous experiences have been over shadowed by this outcome.... may the solution is not to order wings to go or not to order on taco Tuesdays...* i did dine and and placed an order of wings to go...
Very nice and clean. Our waitress was very friendly and took our orders in a timely fashion. I would definitely go back.

Love supporting local businesses but this one I'm going to have to pass on a return visit. Went with my family on a Friday night. Busy? Yes! We were seated fairly quickly. But that was about the end of the speed of service. They were probably short staffed, I get it. But... one. Hour. Later... 3 out of our 4 meals finally arrived. 10 minutes later, our server finally realized my meal was missing. Apologized and went to check, they had forgotten about it! Another 15 min before my meal arrived. They were quick to take my payment though.
We were unable to stay due to a perceived lack of seating. We went to meet a friend. We were told there would be a thirty minute wait as there were no tables. My husband went upstairs to tell our friend and saw an open table (no one else was waiting), there were also three tables on the patio, which were never offered as an option. We decided to leave because our friend told us the service so far had been terrible and our kids were already hungry. They have a lot of TVs so okay for watching a game, I guess. If you want to go to Cogburns I suggest going about 6 miles further north on Val Vista to the location there (Val Vista & Elliot). The people there were so much nicer.
My friend Ryan goes to Cogburns from time to time because he likes the food and atmosphere of the place. Its a themed Bar & Grill and a Sports bar done right. The service was excellent ?, Our Server was a terrific ? professional who was perfectly attentive without intrusion or being a bother. We were there for the Tall size mugs of beer, and the chicken wings which were the days special. I admit right away that I am a Chicken Wing Afficianado and will compare Wings to the one's back in The Buffalo NY Region. So I almost always order some done Original style to judge Wings. "Properly"cooked Wings are fried until the skin stays crispy even after they are sauced with Buffalo Wing ? sauce. My order & Ryan's were done ?✅ to perfection. I also tried the Raspberry Chipotle Wings which were quite good. We chose to sit in a booth where this side of the place had fewer people, but that's just us, the other side was lightly crowded but not too much. It was the the perfect spot to spend Cinco de Mayo 2022, especially since I didn't go out last year. Had such a great time out there with my friend that I was shocked how fast Midnight came along. I will definitely be going back to Cogburns, and you will too if you like a Sports bar done well. Oh, yeah, and the restrooms were nice ? and not run down like some Bar based restaurants. They easily get a full 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me and my buddy Ryan.
3 stars because the food is horrendous in my opinion especially the poutine it's just disappointing. I typically just go for the drinks most of the time! the bartenders are pretty chill. Pleaseeeeee do better on the bar food because I want to like this place.
Cannot go wrong here for wings. Wings wings wings. Some of the best you will find in the PHX area. Personally I enjoy extra crispy with sauce on the side. Service is regularly excellent. Find yourself here on a Saturday night to enjoy a UFC fight if that is your thing. Otherwise show up and join a happy crowd enjoying their life.
I would not visit this location again. There was one server when we went in and many times she was upstairs or sitting on the stairs on her phone. The salt shaker lid was not completely screwed on and when my son went to put salt on his fries the whole thing poured out. I asked for new fries and explain the situation and she charged me for the fries. Not only that the chicken tenders at this location are not good and completely different from the location on Val Vista and Elliot. Between the poor service and the difference in food and being charged for french fries for an error that was the bars behalf, I just would not go back. If you have the choice to visit this one or the one further down, definitely travel the extra miles
Super happy employees was identified, which make the Service so much better. Food and drinks were awesome. It was not the normal location I go to but I would go back for the great food and great service.
