They are very clearly short staffed. Expect long waits after you are seated. 20 minutes for drinks. 45 minutes for appetizers. 90 minutes until the main course came out.
Good food and service was excellent. I do wish when people construct restaurants they take into consideration the potential noise levels. Not sure too many people want loud music or louder conversations to make normal customer chatter to be a almost impossible.
Service was very slow, hard to blame the guy since he was the bartender. Used to be our go to place but honestly might be the last time for us.
I love the ambiance of this restaurant! Lovely place to eat delicious food. I love their carpaccio-it is HUGE and is listed as an appetizer-for me, it's a meal. It comes with salad greens that are lightly coated in a very tasty vinaigrette dressing (not too tart or too sweet!). Two pie-shaped pieces of seasoned flatbread come as well, along with capers and a creamy dressing that is drizzled over the HUGE plate. It is lightly dusted with shredded parmesan cheese All the tastes meld beautifully. It's my favorite dish and keeps me coming back! We split a cup (really a bowl) of the lobster bisque; it was divine. I wish they would plate it at the kitchen, but the waiter was accommodating and brought an additional bowl so we could ladle it ourselves. It was just the 'taste' that was needed for this item, rather than having a large, very rich bisque soup. Flavor, of course, was fabulous. My companion also enjoyed their Brio pasta dish. I've never had (nor has anyone with me) had a bad meal here--everything is truly delicious.
We are regulars at Brio and have had the same server a few times. She is wonderful! All the staff were working overtime as they were a little short w/some people out. The restaurants that will survive ups and downs are ones that have staff like Gilbert Brio. We hope they are being taken care of by management and we do our part with generous tips, and coming back :)
Great value for what it is in downtown San tan village.
Our server Chris was good
Party of 10, 5 couples. It was rather loud. Hostesses scream ppls names and number in party. Seems like there is a better way than screaming names; it kills the atmosphere a bit. My dinner came out more than a few minutes after the other 9 meals. Luckily server was on top of it when she saw I didnât get my plate. Food was very good. Seemed a bit pricey for chicken limone but I went home with leftovers. Wine list by glass was adequate, had a nice cold fruity Pinot Grigio. Didnât get dessert there went next door to Frost Gelato instead.
Our waiter is named Drew and was attentive and knowledgeable he was helpful and eager to please. Our reservation was on time and we were seated immediately . The food has always been good this time being no exception. Because we had a walker we were seated in the first section and had a lot of traffic but it did not interfere with a pleasant meal.
Once we were seated, we waited 20 minutes before deciding to leave since no waiter had come by, and right as we stood up the waiter came over and said she didnât see us sitting there.
