I'm sorry to say this but this is no where near mexican. The steak I ordered tasted like tender chunks of beef jerky with no flavor. The green sauce is sweet?? I have no idea what type of style they were aiming for here but if you were looking for mexican food, this place is not it. This place may be for some but for those of you looking for authentic Mexican.. look else where!!

A solid Mexican eatery with more hits than misses and a hip vibe. You order cafeteria style. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We got the chips and salsa (both red and green are excellent), the mini chimis (LOVED the cheese sauce), the horchata (yum), and the fajita burrito with carne asada (needs more flavor).Like most cafeteria style restaurants, you will need to pay for your chips and salsa. Be aware that the food comes out really fast. Everything pretty much came out at once.

First time in Phoenix , we were looking for a place to eat close to our hotel and we saw Boca taqueria, we were pleasantly surprised we ordered the pork and chicken fajitas it is a nice portion the meat was well seasoned... also tried the chips and queso dip , that was also very good , the food was good, good flavor , the only down fall is that if your serving Mexican food you NEED some good homemade salsas.... we did not get that, they serve a green sweet salsa , a red tomato salsa that just lacked flavor the food is too good NOT to serve a decent salsa ! it doesn't have to be hot , but you've got to have a good flavor to go with the meal, good job guys on the food

Probably one of the worst Mexican food places we've ever been to. Started off with the most unpleasant, -hates her job- girl. Didn't greet us. Started with - what do you want-. She was annoyed with any questions we had. Handed us the receipt and walked away. The food was way over priced for mediocre taste. The taco tortillas were dripping in grease and were soggy. Carne asada was incredibly bland. Chicken taco was ok. Not much seasoning to it. Taco salad was something a 5 year old could put together and once again was ridiculously over priced for the portion. You can find better food at Filibertos. For sure won't be back and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Lots of flavor good service from chef Tonya and crew

Such a fun place to enjoy lunch or dinner with friends. We had heard from a friend about Boca Taqueria and when we saw their Heart Taco Platter we decided what a perfect way to check them out. During Valentines Day weekend we were able to enjoy 30 tacos, the Boca Trio, Margs and more and it was fantastic - highly recommend sitting at a high top table near the window. We have since gone back to Boca a handful of times and have learned it’s always best around lunch when they first open on the weekends. It tends to not be as busy as a taco Tuesday or a Margs happy hour night. Each time we have had the Boca Trio and love the guacamole and queso. The Tacos have all been tasty that we have tried and the kids menu is pretty perfect for any kid or picky eater. The only thing we have had that wasn’t our fav was the Chile relleno it was a little on the soggy side for our liking. The chicken enchiladas as a favorite with rice and beans. The margaritas are tasty - I prefer the watermelon one and my husband likes the Cadillac or the pineapple one.The pricing is also really reasonable and they have different specials throughout the week.

I really don’t understand the draw to this place. The food is okay. I haven’t been impressed by anything I’ve tried here. I like the atmosphere, especially the outdoor ambiance and live entertainment but the food is bland and so-so.

If you love the original Rosa's or Tia Rosa's you will LOVE Boca! Best Mexican food out there!

Fun place to eat. Some outside seats if you have a big group. They get your food to you fast and it’s pretty good American Mexican food. If you don’t like the crazy authentic Mexican food (cheap hole in the wall places) this is a better option for fast food.
