My first time dining at Black Bear Diner. Our group of five were bringing hungry for breakfast. My local friend suggested I give it a shot. The place is clean, full of natural light and decorated in a camp town motif. Every view from our table was interesting. The wait staff is excellent. Introduced herself with a big smile and let us know she would be helpful if needed. We perused the menu which is loaded with so many offerings. We ordered, and within minutes our selections hit our table. Warm, and spot on dishes plated perfectly. Coffee warm-ups were offered three times, nice! The prices are moderate and the offerings meet the value. No complaints here! If you are in Gilbert and looking to satisfy your hunger, give Black Bear Diner a visit. Enjoy.
Breakfast here was great. I had The Grizz. It was delicious, lots of food, can't beat the sweet cream pancakes, also came with eggs, hash browns, and 3 different meats. The kids had Cub Cakes. The food at this location was delicious as like the other locations we have visited, but our server was not very good, we had to find someone to get our drinks refilled and she forgot to bring other items we ordered. I noticed the other servers were doing a good job so ours must of had a bad day.

Diner is clean and has lots of parking. The service is super friendly and very quick. Food also cane out quickly. I love it here for breakfast! The location I went to also had a counter if dining alone, thats always nice to see if you are in a rush! I overall recommend Black Bear for some great food
The chicken fried steak is my go-to meal here. The biscuits are huge, fluffy, and filling. All 3 hot sauces have a good flavor. and the country cabin decor is cozy and welcoming.

First time here. I was very impressed by the service, and the atmosphere. The menus were fun. They were printed newspaper. Food portions were huge, and the coffee was delicious. Our server was very professional, she did her job well. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for a nice country home setting, with great food.
