I had my wedding reception at the upstairs Zane Grey ballroom & bar! I love the historical integrity & character of this gorgeous venue and treasured it for many years before during my college years. It was a dream come tru to have my reception here. Loved the engagement of the Weatherford staff. The Event Coordinator, Kim, was amazing in her efficient follow up & feedback, and the Weatherford staff helped with set up and other aspects that usually a Wedding Coordinator does! They really are hands on. The Bartender has been there may years and was exceptional to our Guests. The food was delicious and we were able to have a tasting ahead of time. The Weatherford staff really goes above and beyond with thier service, and they were absolutely "Johny on the Spot" during the reception. Love love loved!
We had such a fun time on a Sunday night! Cole managed several large parties by himself, and remained cheerful and friendly the entire time. We will definitely be back.
We absolutely enjoyed our bartender Cole. A magnificent personality.
Cole was awesome! Made me up a special drink cause i am picky
Kim and Co. prepared a wonderful rehearsal dinner for 100 people with us!
Sundays with cole is the jam!
Beautiful bar on a balcony overlooking downtown Flagstaff. Great drinks and a great view. Great service and a nice place to sit and enjoy a cocktail.
It was a real treat to stay in this late 1800s Hotel. A step back into the earlier days of the United States. Friendly staff and great food in Charly’s Pub. Right in the center of downtown Flagstaff with lots of activity.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and well done although I wouldn't mind seeing a little more of the historic parts of the hotel. There was noise from the hotel bars as advertised, but nothing that we couldn't handle. The location is amazing and we were able to walk to some very good downtown restaurants. Drinks at Charly's in the hotel were great. Will stay here again for sure.
We enjoyed a one night stay the Wednesday before Halloween. The historic hotel is nicely renovated, retaining much of the original charm. The parking is tight but the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring old town Flagstaff, route 66, the local breweries and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean. The live music in the bar was really good and we did not experience any late night noise issues (but we were adequately warned it was possible). We felt it was a treat to stay at this unique hotel with all its history. We would recommend it and hope to return.
