Despite the name, this local treasure is anything but "touristy". First as a coffee shop, then expanding to breakfast/lunch eatery, this local cafe treats people kindly, serves great coffees and teas, and makes fresh breakfasts and lunch. I have visited this Café a few times in the last several years. Each time it seems to get a bit bteer and bigger.Today, I walked to the cafe from my hotel in downtown Flagstaff. They have added a large seating area outside with covered shade, heat when needed and a great pleasant outside experience. The ordering is done either at the counter inside, ir you can use the QR code and order from the table. The process is simple and selections are varied. I got a spicy chai tea latte, and a BLT with turkey and avacado. The side was a homemade cup of organic vegetable soup. The restaurant layout and outdoor seating is a fun and enjoyable change from crowded indoor places and confined coffee shops. The specialty coffee and teas are top notch. My spicy chai tea was large, lot and perfectly flavored on a whole milk base. The sandwich was fresh, avacado perfectly ripe, bacon hot and the turkey abundant. Wow. The vegetable soup was liekwise excellent.I will definitely return!
Cute, modern diner with plenty of patio seating. Highly recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice and spicy chai tea latte! Both were absolute perfection ?? The Eggs Benedict was a creative and tasty take on the original. The French toast was classic and delicious. Would recommend this place. Staff was super friendly as well!
I met my aunt and uncle here this last week when passing through. I thought the people working there were very nice and the food was delicious. I am only giving three stars and I would not visit again because of the way the ordering is set up using the QR code. For me, I come to restaurants to relax and have people take care of me so that I can enjoy the company, food, and ambiance. When restaurants choose to make their customers work to order food, it's a complete turn off. It took longer for the employee to help my family figure out how to use the app then it would have to have just taken our order. Yes, we were given you the option to go to the counter and order but you are already sitting at a table with your family and you don't want to look like "that" person who can't figure out the ordering. It's embarrassing really and I don't think that is the aim of any restaurant. Then after our food arrived, we had to go get the utensils. So our food sat there getting cold while we figured out where things were in this unfamiliar space. I suggest having either traditional service or do all counter ordering and help people get what they need to eat their food before it arrives so that they may enjoy their company without a bunch of questions, ups and downs and rigmarole. If you, as a reader of this review, are fine with QR ordering and getting your own utensils then you will enjoy this place and I recommend it for you.
What a nice place. The ordering system is smooth, if you can work a phone. You can also order from a human. The breakfast burrito is outstanding. So was the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The coffee was pretty good but the refills didn't come quickly on my visit. Love the property. Definitely coming back and telling friends. Thanks.
Arriving early into Flaggstaff at 4:40 am on the Amtrak train, I was hungry and tiered. The kind woman working at the Amtrak office recommended "Tourist Home All Day" Cafe because it opened at 6 am and was close to the station. I walked over to San Franscisco Street and saw a charming building that looked like a home on the corner. I walked up the stairs and into the charming building. What an awesome place. They bake their own pastries from scratch and serve a full menu breakfast and lunch menu. It was so relaxing inside and the staff was really helpful. Enjoyed a cup of tea with a luscious blueberry scone that just came out of the oven. Nobody rushed me. I was able to relax at the table and eat my scone, and later sip on some tea. Restroom was so clean and tidy. My gosh the whole place was sparkling clean and full of warmth. What an incredible place to begin one's day especially since I hadn't slept much on the train and had a long day ahead of me heading to Grand Canyon. You'll love this place! It's Super Marvelous1
Excellent!!! We stopped here for lunch on our way thru town on a road trip. We had the turkey, bacon, avocado on nine grain, with greens, breakfast burrito, and burger. We got a donut to go. Everything was excellent! Salads look good too.
We stopped in after our snow shoe/Yurt weekend, we wanted to have a made to order, sit down meal after our camping event. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a quick explanation of seat yourself, layout and how to order. We had no less than 4 very friendly staff check in on us throughout our meal, they were all very sweet. We both ordered the classic breakfast. Ordering online was very easy and everything came out perfect. The eggs were cooked as we requested, over easy, and the bacon was so yummy! I love the bar in the middle, if like to sit there next time. The seating was ok, but the stools are not comfortable, neat but not comfortable. I highly recommend this place, great service and great food!
Cute little diner type of restaurant. Breakfast was very hearty and one plate of food can feed two people. They have a chai latte that they offer as spicy, sweet, or both. Something I have never been offered before.
Great food, big portions and friendly service. A nice local place to visit and if you go early enough the crowds are small.
The food was good but the service was horrible. They implemented this QR code ordering system were you order food without waiter. That is horrible. It takes forever to get your food from the kitchen but if you want to add something, like toast or something, it takes another 15 to 20 minutes. Your drinks never get refilled, you can’t find someone to help you if you have any questions. Will not be back there for sure
