Oh my goodness ????. Our most amazing meal/ the special halibut was the best ever. Our foursome all loved our meal! The server was just great and the manager came by the table to introduce himself and ask if we needed anything. We are SO IMPRESSED ???
Have given TB 6 visits over the past 12 months and can honestly, unequivocally say that it's just not worth spending your money here. Food is lackluster especially considering the price. Meats have consistently been ordered one temp, at times being told by server "Chef recommends...", only to come out overcooked. This is disappointing. Generally wine service is inattentive. Example, on our last visit I ordered a glass of wine which I finished and asked for the wine list to order a second glass. A true 15 minutes later I had to ask for the list again. I was hoping to get my wine before the main course. Unfortunately the main showed up and no wine to be had. Small detail but when you're charging what TB does you expect them to be on top of it. Sad. Hopefully they'll get their act together but having dined all over the world in restaurants of all levels and being a retired Chef/Owner, I don't see that happening. Avoid.
Fine dining and great service!
We love to go here for special events. The food is exceptionally great and the service has always been attentive to detail. My favorite dish was the crispy duck, which was perfectly cooked, juicy and crisp, paired with inventive sides that enhanced the beauty of the presentation. Every time we go there are new items to try and I've never been disappointed. Great place, and we look forward to more great times there.
the food presentation was better than the taste- the filet mignon was a bit salty. trout was moist n well done but nothing stood out. Duck breast ok IMHO dry and flavor was ... wasn't the $300+ at all... should have celebrated back in town at Oceans or somthing and we waited more than an hour for the food. the appetizers were meh... I'm not sure why it is so highly rated. also the meat quality not very good on the filet m...
A true gem - the food was excellent and the service off the chart! The restaurant has a reasonably sized and well balanced menu, featuring some very creative and well-crafted dishes! Isabelle, our server, was super attentive, very pleasant and accommodating of our wishes! Highly recommended!
We dined there Sunday night with friends, and had an amazing time. Izzy was so kind and helpful and delivered excellent service and the food was top notch.
Very expensive for what you get. Food was mediocre. Gamehen was oversalted. Duck breast came in to large lumps which were incredibly unappealing in appearance. Overall not a whole lot of flavor. Prices were very high for a town like Flagstaff. Overall a disappointment.
Delicious food, superb service and amazing wines. Nothing more to add. If you are in doubt, don't be. Do it and enjoy it to the fullest.
We had to celebrate our 50th W/Anniversary in style so we had chosen to do something iconic. Route 66 was it. Chicago to Santa Monica. The plan involved being at the Grand Canyon on our W/A & nice meal. We celebrate at the Tinderbox Kitchen with help of Izzy & Ryan. Excellent service food & wine. We can not recommend the restaurant highly enough, quality food v quantity. Keep doing what you do. Thank you all for completing a superb day & making it very memorable.
