Found this on an internet searching driving through town. We has breakfast and everyone enjoyed the food. The French toast was I.k. and maybe not Giant as advertised but it was filling and sausage was fantastic. Everything is owl themed and they have 2 locations in Flagstaff and apparently they will be opening a Phoenix location.
The looks is fabulous inside and out...meaning it's an "everybody's" Cafe restaurant. Why? Because, it represents all generations of life. The inside theme, none can complain... I described it as authentic or an antique family breakfast resto. Food were great, portion satisfaction and servers were cool/calm and looked like dedicated employees. Hopefully the owner/s gives them increase...wink wink wink.
Flagstaff has some excellent breakfast options, and near the top of the stack is Toasted Owl Café. Great food, absolutely great sevice, fun decor, lots of seating and wonderful outside tables as well. Located on Mike's Pike and Phoenix St, The Toasted Owl is a local legend with two locations, this being the original.We arrived on a Sunday morning to a 20 min wait, which seems reasonable for a popular breakfast spot. The staff was quick to take our party to a table, and the wait was shorter than first quoted. We sat outside, and they opened the table umbrella for us, which was kind.I ordered the breakfast sandwich which was their custom take on a typical toasted fried egg sandwich . It came with wheat toast, tomatoes, cheese, bacon and of course a fried egg. It was excellent. My son ordered breakfast enchiladas which came with black beans, scrambled eggs and enchiladas with green chili sauce. Inside the enchiladas he had beef and they came with spinach inside as well. The food all tasted excellent and came out fairly quick.The service was phenomenal throughout. Our table had a lot of custom requests and the wait staff handled it like pros, with patience and kindness. Truly great to find such excellence in customer service at this eatery.If you're looking for a solid breakfast and great service, look no further than the Toasted Owl.
Beautiful little spot in town. The staff was friendly, they had great gluten free options for my wife, and I loved my sandwich and sweet potato tots. Unique decorations and atmosphere and would love to visit again next time we're in town.
Absolutely loved it! Food was great, server was really nice and attentive, and the atmosphere is adorable! All the vintage decor is for sale too and I got a cute lil owl statue ? to remember the meal by!
What a fabulous spot for breakfast! The vibe is awesome and I can't remember the last time I had such friendly service. Everyone was super engaged and looked happy! The Avacado Toast was the best! Love the eclectic decor!
Service was confused. Food was below average.
Very quaint, eclectic space. Enjoyed lunch outdoors with great service and views and lots of tempting options on the menu. Hot chocolate was tasty. Beet salads were VERY light on chicken, although still tasty. Jalepeno Owl burger was scrumptious. Would return, easy walking distance from the Drury hotel. Across the street from a nice brewery and the smallest and very popular pizza place.
Quirky cafe where everything is for sale. Great selection of teas, top notch service, cute patio, fair prices.A number of vegan options. I had the veggie scramble and it was pretty bland.
This place looks cool and funky with a fun vibe but the service is pretty bad. We waited an hour for our food to come out. When it was served, it was mediocre at best. I don't recommend this place. There are much better spots in Flagstaff!
