We were in town for just one night and was attracted to this place by the stellar reviews. It did NOT disappoint. Good Thai restaurants are few and far between and We’re always looking for great places. Swaddee hit the mark. We ordered Masaman Curry and Ginger Beef and both were tasty and done perfectly. The order was to go and ready really quickly. The restaurant was very busy so plan ahead. A local gem that we will visit again, next time we’re in town!
Really delicious Thai food. We can't here after we found out Pizzicleta was closed. Glad we did. I got the Pad Thai and my hubby got the duck Curry. Everything was fabulous. Will come back again!
Wow! Try the Mee Krob sweet crispy noodles for an absolutely amazing authentic appetizer. The Thai tea was wonderful as well.
Stopped on the way thorough Flagstaff. Best authentic Thai food I have had in a very long time. Rivals if not exceeds the food I had in Thailand. Perfect roasted duck. Did not use the rice to not dilute the flavor. Perfect seafood soup. The green curry was so flavorful (tasted my husband’s which he loved). Mango sticky rice to die for. Price? Unbeatable. Too bad we don’t live in Flagstaff or close by.
The atmosphere is nice. The service was fast. However the food was definatly lacking flavor. The pad thai had a laughable amount bean sprouts cabbage and no cilantro, it was overly sweet and had almost no peanut flavor. We had several other dishes that suffered the same issue. There were cucumbers in a yellow curry and the curry itself was bland. Over all this place has the potential to be great, but it just seems to be missing few crucial flavor profiles.
I really enjoy coming here for their Thai duck dishes. I don't come here often enough as I always enjoy the food while I am here. Went for a 4 out of 5 on spice and I could have gone full 5*, but more importantly, the heat was there with depth of flavor. Just a few bits and pieces of bone and ligament, which just shows that there is real duck in a great curry dish.
I had a wonderful cashew chicken and my wife had a salad. It was a great family atmosphere in downtown flagstaff. We sat in nice booths off to the side and we were offered menus right away. The food came very quickly.
We enjoyed green and red curries with vegetables and chicken, and a papaya salad, for dinner. The server was very helpful and the food was delicious. Properly spiced and delicious!
Lot of vegetarian food options, perfect downtown location and nice ambience! Great customer service and hospitality! Tasty food and is not expensive. Love the food and personalized service!
I'm originally from Chicago where we had a plethora of Thai restaurants to choose from and I must say Swaddee Thai was outstanding> VERY Authentic and delicious food. If you are a fan of Thai cuisine then you will need to eat here for sure !!!!
