My brother referred me here as I was passing through town early this morning. So I really tried to like it. Our server was attentive. But out food was not good. We ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. The dark breading on the steak was very hard! (Not exaggerating!) Hash browns were partially burnt & dry. Eggs & toast were good. And unfortunately the coffee wasn't too great, either. We were traveling & tired, so we ate a little & left. I'm not interested in returning.
If you really want juck this is the place to go. You do get a lot of food but, well, it is less than great. But they the staff makes up for it by yelling at each other across the place. Worth skipping.
Love, love, love this place. They have the most delicious breakfast, including giant biscuits and gravy. Staff is super nice and the environment is a quaint, rustic decor. I make it a point to go here every time I'm in Flagstaff.
I was really excited for my burro but it was jammed packed with egg…Great waitressMenu is misleadingI just ate the hash Browns and threw the rest away! What a waste of $10
Great service and the food came out really quick! Huge thanks to our fast waiter (this was a short stop on our way) she was sweet!We came and had breakfast which we had them split up in the back. We had French toast with whipped cream and strawberries. And then we also had the country fried chicken with these huge biscuits and gravy on the side with sunny side eggs and hash browns. We also had hot tea on the side.Delicious and quick, recommend if you're in Flagstaff and want a hearty breakfast.
We stopped by this place on out way to the Grand Canyon and it did not disappoint! There was plenty of tables and the staff was very personable and friendly. Our waitress gave us excellent recommendations from the menu. I had a hamburger with the chili cheese fries. The fries were big enough to share with my husband! My husband got a breakfast burro with their homemade chorizo and he also tried a biscuit with Gravy. He had asked for a "little biscuit" and the waitress said that they don't have little biscuits. Their biscuits are what other biscuits want to be like. If you haven't checked out Mike & Ronda's, you need to go!
Chicken fried steak was great. Biscuits were more like giant bread rolls... Look at those things. Biscuits should be flaky and crumbly... Maybe add shortening ot salted butter to mix. Thick cut bacon was very good As others have stated the service was really friendly.
The food and staff was amazing. Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Really fast service too.
You get so much food here for pretty cheap. They have a variety of different breakfast options. The corned beef hash was better here than most places I've been.
Customer service was nice but the food was cold and didn't have much flavor to it. the pancakes were so dry and the french toast was just ehhh.. It was a huge serving size ..we were visiting so we couldn't finish the food it wasn't that great honestly. Wouldn't go here again.
