Great dog friendly burger and beer restaurant.The burger menu was extensive, and the service was excellent. They brought a stainless bowl filled with water for our canine companion!Even the tablecloth was dog themed!Outside seating was a little windy, but perfecttemperature. Would eat here again any time!
Amazing staff. Period. We had Charys, who was an absolute treasure. She accommodated every request we had which late, on a Saturday night, was fantastic. If you make a trip to flag staff and don’t stop at Matty G’s then you are doing yourself a disservice. Burgers and garlic fries were incredible and they have twisted tea which is a local favorite on draft. If you are a snowboarder like me you have to stop in to check the vibe.
If you are looking for one of the best burgers in flag look no further, Matty’s has it all. Tons of choices/options to choose from so no matter who you are you’ll find yourself delighted. On top of the already incredibly good food there’s such cool old and new sports memorabilia that’ll get you up out of your seat to look around. 10/10 I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to enjoy their time.
The fried pickles are so good! A must try! I also got the birdy (chicken sandwich) it was also very good! The service was great and dogs are allowed on the patio!
Good burger and sweet potato fries. Sports themed but random stuff. You order at a counter and from then on the wait on you at your table? Didn’t try a lobster roll but noticed on the menu there was no straight-up lobster roll. They were a mix of lobster with shrimp and other seafood. ?
Don't come for the lobster rolls. Maybe the burgers are better?So first off, this place doesn't actually have lobster rolls, they have rolls with other seafood and "some" lobster. I got the crab and lobster which seemed the closest to the real thing but it was maybe 30% lobster/70% crab.Second, there's a lot of sauce options but no classic warm butter or chilled with mayo/green onion. You know, like how 99% of lobster rolls around the country are served. I understand wanting to offer some unique options, but it seems insane to not have a plain butter lobster roll option.The fries were decent and the service was... tolerable. Chipotle aioli sauce was good for the fries. The lobster roll prices were reasonable, but only because there's barely any lobster.
We had a fantastic meal at Matty G’s! Great burgers! The staff was fantastic and so friendly! I highly recommend Matty G’s!
Terrible food and service. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich, which came out raw in the middle. They didn’t even offer a refund. The other food we got was edible, but by no means great. Do not waste your money eating here.
Nice burger spot in the middle of downtown Flagstaff.. the burger menu is long and has great choices for any tastes.. fun baseball theme burger names and old school baseball decor is fun to look at.. the burger patties are VERY good with steak flavor and the popcorn Buffalo fries are awesome!
I go down town quite a bit and this is one of my favorite places to stop in. Their burgers never disipoint. Got the Rocky with garlic fries and was amazing as usual. And must say a pretty good selection of beer as well. They are a must try.
