Getting to this coffee shop can be tricky at times due to traffic. When open, the coffee and service has been good. It is significantly frustrating to navigate traffic only to find that the booth is closed and you can't tell unless you drive in. And parking is so limited it makes it difficult to visit. I typically avoid visiting here unless I am sure that they are open and able to help me. Fortunately there is another place down the road that is more consistent and convenient.
Coffee is good and the staff working were very friendly - feels like a nice college coffee shop. You get free refills while you're there on black coffee. Internet was good, but there is only one or two accessible outlets in the cafe so make sure you're charged up before you get there.

I only give it 4 stars because of the organization. The staff was friendly and attentive. The way they took orders and made drinks was a bit chaotic and took some time. But it was worth it. Wish I would gave grabbed a bag of beans before I left. Will definitely visit again.
This is an excellent local coffee shop. The pastries range from freshly made to pre-bought. They breakfast options are yummy.The drive through kiosk is clever and in constant contact with the inside so good orders can be made.They roast their own coffee, and it’s really good. They have limited but varied seating (bar, tables, couch). And the people are very friendly.You can buy mugs and mercy there, but for a great vibe to work on the computer for a few hours it’s a great choice and kitty corner to the Drury Inn.Head up is they don’t have any convenient power points, so you can really only rely on your battery for any electronics.Music has been on point every time I visit.
Rain is the name of the sweet barista who helped me at the drive through today. Speaking with her was a very pleasant experience and she made me a delicious iced vanilla latte. I hope to visit again next time I'm in town.
Excellent coffee house. I like the open-air environment to show their concern to help prevent the spread of Covid. I ordered a favorite drink of mine at any coffee house, a vanilla frozen late, and Matador does it very well!I also noticed another coffee shop in the little mall in the old downtown Flagstaff area using Matador's coffee beans to make their drinks...looks like a good sign to me!
We stopped by twice during our recent trip to Flagstaff. The lattes and mochas were delicious as was the breakfast burrito. They are understandably super popular so be prepared to wait in line for a while. The friendly staff more than makes up for any wait.
Great coffee, great first time experience, my wife and I loved it. The staff was super friendly and the place is super adorable and cozy. We will be back next time we come up
My favorite coffee place in flagstaff. Usually go to the drive through after skiing snowbowl. I stopped today to grab a coffee for my drive home and the drive-through hut was closed but you were able to walk in and order a coffee. I hope the hut doesn’t stay closed!
