Huge disappointment. Walked in 20 mins before close and asked politely if I could place a takeout order since when I called in no one was answering the phone. The hostess said absolutely, not a problem, and took my food order - I tipped to be grateful. The cook scowled at me the entire time and served me the tiniest salad and lousiest sandwich I've ever had in town. When I thanked them after getting it, the cook kept a horrid scowl on his face and left me with a feeling that my food would have been mishandled. This place has great reviews and maybe today was an off day, but to me there's nothing worse than paying for poor food or poor service and I left feeling like I majorly inconvienced them and with a measly portion of food for $25. Never again.

This was a gem of a place on old Route 66. Great sandwiches and soups and salads. The vintage lunch boxes bring back great memories of childhood too!
Locals know where to go, and when you see a place busy, the locals are there ... You know you need to go.Great food, great service, great value.
I work for a dental office in town and we had our monthly meeting catered by Jitters! It was delicious, perfect meal for a group of people. Delicious unique sandwiches, vegetarian and gluten free options, and tasty pasta salad as a side! Definitely a staff favorite and would recommend to anyone looking for a unique sandwich option.
The chicken salad is delicious and the bean and bacon soup is *amazing* - I will continue to order lunch from Jitters, their food never disappoints!

The potato salad is out of this world! Yum, I would come back just for this. I had the corn and green pepper chowder. Very good. Not too spicy. I had the Garden-Eatin sandwich. It was very tasty but I would have liked more than one paper thin slice of Swiss cheese. I would definitely come back next time I’m craving a sandwich. The front staff was cheerful, helpful and definitely an asset to the business.
