My favorite fast food sandwich shop. I usually get the Italian with cherry peppers or the club on a sub. Both delicious. Staff was friendly, service was fast, and store was clean.
Stopped twice this week for lunch. On Wednesday I ordered the turkey and bacon sub with extra toasted bun and extra crispy bacon with the ranch on the side. It was great. The next time on Friday I ordered the engineer sub and asked for extra toasted bun with the mayo on the side to go. It wasn't toasted at all the bun was soggy from the mushy tomato and I didn't notice any mustard. I ended up tossing the bottom bun. They were busy today but still I'd love for the food to be consistent. There were different people working today. Next time I'll check the food before I leave ?
Go here to get gluten free sub but they advertise it and rarely have it. Very disappointing. Last time I went here was one of the best subs I’ve had but now they seem to always forget to make gluten free bread. I guess call ahead before you waste $20 in fueldriving across town, just to have to leave and go get lunch somewhere else.
Subs are delicious!! Great change of pace from burgers or pizza. Wonderful staff, very friendly - supports our Firefighters....win, win. Recommend Firehouse Subs ❤️
Hear me out.. We all have bad days and I see in the reviews people being big baby’s….. let’s face it you’ve been “rude” to a person yourself… but enough of all that. This place deserves more credit. Firehouse subs donates money and that money goes to local first responders… same people that have kept FLAGSTAFF safe mainly all my life. The sandwiches are perfect to me all the time. It’s far better than Subway and when it comes to ingredients definitely tops it…. Stop by and try the spicy CAJUN chicken sandwich and ENJOY the BEAUTIFUL LOCAL ARTWORK in the lobby and try out there freestyle fountain machine with over 50+ soda flavors/beverages. Fast, friendly, super clean, really really good subs. Had no idea you could turn bread and meat into a work of art for your mouth. I just found my new favorite sub shop. They donate to our firefighters too. Definitely worth stopping in.
Love to order take out from this place via the app. We discovered firehouse subs in another location and was excited to see it open in Flagstaff. Typically, we have had no issues with food and service; however, one time, there was a missed opportunity that was quickly and professionally rectified. Our experiences have been consistently great, so I was surprised to read all the negative reviews. I hope the private owner that is so often mentioned by Anna in the replies actually responds if there are challenges.
Let me start by saying I love the food from firehouse, however when I went in today and tried to order a sandwich my girlfriend and I were told that they had to save all the meat for online orders , so to me that says as a walk in customer , my business is not important. The real kicker is I had tried to order online and the website said it could not complete my order, so I decided to just go in . now if that's really how you conduct business , I will not return nor will anyone I know I guarantee !!!
1st time back In a while. Remember why I stopped going. Ordered the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket, had high hopes for it but it was super dry meat was bland and almost had zero sauce on the sandwich.
I come in often and am usually greeted but today was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Me and my family come in around 11 and are greeted with a very crowed firehouse. I got a rude look from the employees when I came in. After I ordered I was watching the commotion going on between the workers. I assume the manager as she was in different clothing compared to others kept being rude to her workers. She had yelled at one of the workers to not wait for something even though it wasn’t quite done and to just take it out right away. It took about 20 minutes to get two sandwiches. When I finally got it the man who gave it was very nice and almost made up for the managers attitude. I could tell everyone was not happy and were stressed out. I don’t think I’ll be back for a very long time.plus my food wasn’t even hot and the meat was halfway out of the sandwich
