In my reviews and places I ate in flagstaff, this place sure deserves a 5 star rating review. Why? Because it is as good and authentic as it can get. It’s very delicious and is very popular for many of its meals, combinations, and beverages. The serving are big, the services is amazing, always feel treated and valued like family. Hardworking people and overall the best of any I have tasted. So please believe me when I say it’s the best. If you have a big appetite and is mouthwatering crave. This is the place to be appreciated by all means ??I love this place.Thank you, El Tapatio ?????
I showed up and put my name and number down for a table. I will get called in 15-25 min wait. A hour later I called to check availability and was seated at a dirty table. Asked for a rag and cleaned it ourselves. Got chips and salsa. Waited and additional 15 mins for a drink order. Waited an additional 10 for a food order. Waited over 40 mins for the food. Won't be back. Fajitas were good, burritos were great. It's a shame the service wasn't too great. No refills were offered. Loved the food I wish it had better service otherwise it would be a 5/5.
Food was delicious. I got the chicken salad and the chicken was perfect and delicious. My husband got the enchiladas de camaron and they didn't stand a chance, lol. He enjoyed them. Pictures don't give it justice but they everything was delicious
We came here because of the reviews and it didn’t disappoint! Amazing food, service and the salsa should be bottled and sold! Fair prices.
Absolutely wonderful meal and service. Really busy but fast ordering with fun staff. Large portions and good value. Loved it.
Jose Luis is the best waiter we've ever had. The good is fantastic. We went 2 days in a row. Flagstaff is hard to navigate around and el tapatio is a home away from home. I wish I could give 6 stars. Going back to Chicago tomorrow and el tapatio will be greatly missed.
So many Mexican restaurants to choose from in Flagstaff! El Tapatio didn’t disappoint. We were seated very quickly as my daughter got there 15 min before us and out her name on the list. Restaurant packed but service was fast and efficient. Friendly waiters and staff. Water, drinks arrived within minutes and guacamole right after. Food delicious and hearty. Plates are big and reasonably priced. We had chicken mole enchiladas, a combo platter and margaritas, house wine. Will definitely return on our next trip to Flag.

I read the reviews but they didn't deliver. positive: colorful, friendly atmosphere. As we sat down, they brought chips and salsa. our waiter was nice, made some suggestions. Negatice: there was a piece of plastic on my torta, i noticed it at the end like almost last bite so I simply left it. The server disappeared after taking our order. she brought the drinks, took our order then somebody else brought out the food and we didn't see her untill it my husband got up to ask for the check.Last thoughts we've had better food, and better service, my husband had a burrito and it wasn't what he was expecting. My kids didn't even touch their food and they love tacos rice and beans as well as nuggets and fries. Food was good, but not as amazing as some of y'all here said. ?
