Loved this place. Stopped in for lunch while touring historic downtown Flagstaff. Service was stellar and the Mac n cheese bites were the bomb. Delicious cheesy goodness. My husband ordered the pizza which is made with naan bread. Very good. I also ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil bisque. The sandwich was good but the soup was a bit thick for my liking. Overall great experience.
I love Flagstaff, arrived a little early for a graduation ceremony and found this pub for a little pre-celebration. I rate Irish pubs on wether they have Guinness on tap or not...they do. They have 16 beers on tap, the pint Guinness is amazing. We also had the Irish nachos. They were really good also. Mika was our server and she was amazing...very attentive. I highly recommend this place
First time here. Food was great. Waitress was awesome. Definitely would be back.
Stopped in for a late lunch during our last day in Arizona - Flagstaff is where we made camp for our trip. The food was very good, especially for a Tuesday afternoon. The place is minutes from the Flagstaff visitor center. The place seemed like a pretty standard Irish pub style restaurant. I bet it can get pretty loud on Friday and Saturday nights. If I return to Flagstaff, I will definitely come back to this restaurant.
The staff is great! The food is outstanding -an upscale bar food. You must try the chicken sandwich special. My husband told the server/bartender it was “the best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life”. Eat here, you won’t be sorry!
Very good. We sat at an outdoor table (by choice). The shepherds pie, my husband said, was possibly the best he'd ever had. The bacon Bleu burger (ordered rare) was actually pink! Yay! Very good. Music was fun. The waitress was good.
Food wasn't terrible but not including that a dish has a peanut sauce is unacceptable. My daughter was two bites into a sesame salmon when her mouth started to itch. Turns out there was a peanut sauce on it, she's allergic. Luckily her allergy isn't as bad as some. No manager even bothered to apologize. I didn't eat my food because I lost my appetite and my husband ate cold food because he had to go get Benadryl. I think more should have been comped considering the circumstances. We did get an additional discount but I don't think that was enough.Edit: spoke to Dakota who was aware of the situation when we were there. Comped the sesame salmon and allowed his waitress to take the brunt of it and he told me that typically sesame ginger sauce contains peanuts, to which I responded no it doesn't. He didn't take responsibility and I still paid for food that wasn't eaten. Also we should have asked to speak to him because proactive customer service is foreign to him. Not even a sincere apology, except from the server.
Fun little Irish Pub in Flag.Food is pub food. Some things we're out of stock...like Bangers. Which is the whole reason I went in there. So that was a let down. The beignets were not good. Do not order the beignets. They were not beignets. At all. Just burnt little pieces of sadness.Ended up with a side of mash and demi. That was actually pretty awesome.Fact check: I ordered a blacksmith, which is Guinness and Smithwicks. The server said "you mean a black and tan." No, I meant a blacksmith. She insisted black and tan, so I went with it. I received a blacksmith funny enough, and the kid that brought it even called it a black and tan.A Black and Tan is Guinness and Harp...or a light beer if you need to substitute. Also the term "black and tan" was just cancelled because of it's roots in the oppression of the Irish people in the 1920s. You should change the name. Lol
I have always liked Collins. Been a few years since I was in flagstaff and I went back. They can accomodate gluten-free and soy-free for my wife Still a solid place to get a beer and pub food.
Great pub atmosphere they even have pool tables and games which you rarely see these days. Stop in and have a pint and play some pool. You won't regret it.
